A fever higher than 101 in infants requires a doctor. A fever at 103 IS a life threatening condition, especially if it’s not responding to medication. An infant can have brain damaging seizures from a high temperature like that. We nearly lost our first son because he had chronic infections with temps over 103. Despite being 17 at the time, we ALWAYS went to the er. And my husband was right there with me. At one point my son was admitted for just over a week. My husband was there every minute. Unfortunately, our marriage fell apart later, but when our kids were small he was right there.

Sometimes, an abusive husband just needs a big shock. My dad was an alcoholic. He was in a bad situation at work, so went to the neighborhood bar after work before coming home...& I had to deal with that, since I was home from school before either of them got off from work. Fortunately, I was a teen; but it still wasn't pleasant for me. I have mental illness. Then, one day, my mom asked my psychiatrist if she could come in; & that's when I learned that she was at her wit's end with her husband, & was seriously thinking about taking me & leaving him! When my father realized he was on the verge of leaving us, he started going to AA. On his own initiative. Sometimes, all it takes is a shock.

Just to add to this... Most medical people recommend that should you get a fever over 100F then you should go to a doctor. The higher the fever the more dire the situation becomes. The sooner you see the doctor the easier it will be to treat (and find any underlying problems that cause the fever in the first place).
@CrownedOne919 Жыл бұрын
Back in the day when I was young, in the early 80s, whenever we had fevers, the doctors told us that we had to monitor it AFTER reaching 101°F to make sure that it doesn't go above 103.5°F... plus my fam USED Native Tribe old school remedies that did the trick, and worked usually within a half hour. However, if it ever got any higher than 103.5°, hospital trip was a go. For ME, it was a rare occurrence to have one of THOSE trips. When mine went to 104°F, my parents were calm, but they did hit the panic button and NASCAR'd my ASS to the hospital of my birth, up in the Bronx. I was about 9 or 10.

Wow! How did they get an actual recording of my ex-husband? He would call when leaving his office and ask what was for dinner. Many times I had already been holding dinner for him, making the kids wait to eat and he would say he didn’t like what we were having for dinner and would go out to eat by himself.

I probably would have given him a second chance because I'm soft, especially since he changed...but if she doesn't have love for him there's nothing they can do about that.

The hell it ain't. You know the saying, a leopard doesn't change its spots? It's true, and I know it, because of a chain of repeated bruises, and him attempting to assault my then-best friend, then stalking me after I walked. Sweetie, sometimes, divorce is the *only* way out.

Stop speaking for others who have proven uou wrong. Divorce obviously can be the objectively right answer. You also don't need a spiritual advisor but it could be helpful. Weird ti have issues that Kate in the game

I had a husband who did the same thing , if a friend had not come to check om me and take me to the Dr., I would have died . That was the 'day' the love fr him literally died , and a year later i divorced him as i never got to the point I could trust him with my life again - and he never admitted he was wrong or apologized for leaving me in a life threatening condition , that really put the final nail on the lid of the divorce coffin .

It's "moms" and "dads", NOT "mom's" and "dad's". When a noun is plural (more than one) there is no apostrophe. An apostrophe is used is to show owner ship. For example: That is mom's ball

Where it has the name of person/group (air texts, in this case) doing the video to the right is the word subscribe, just push it, then a bell symbol will show up, hit it and chose how you want 🔔 notifications. I chooses all. The more of a person's videos you watch, the more are put into your scroll down choices when you are at your home 🏡 base.

@@donna7873 no, her posting videos under the name it says, most don't use their real name, or full names to post. To many scary folk out there that do & say bad things to them. Even alot of us that don't post are logged in under unique names, mine is a example others are like, flowers& unicorns, ilovewaffles etc. There are some sick people out there with twisted minds & you don't know who they are & don't want them targeting you in real life. To many people have been stalked, harvested, killed by them. A good example that's currently going on is a creator named Plagued Mouth. His recent post about the ripper is a announcement that after 2 years of him & his family being, let's just say, stalked on the internet and in real life by someone (the stalker figured out his real name) that guy did some horrible videos with /about Plagues little daughter among other things to him & family. It took 2 years, Plagued's fans and police to figure out who his "stalker" is.

Papa would help care for us kids when we were sick, work around the house was divided by what each person was better at, and he actually listened when his mother taught him to respect women. He even helped change diapers, and I'm told he would come and sit with me when i cried at the daycare attached to his workplace. He was akward as heck with kids, especially as we girls got older, but he did his best to ensure we knew he loved us unconditionally. A nasty fever would see us and mama delivered to the doctor if this bad and he likely would have nearly chained mama to the bed to get her to rest properly if needed. He may be far from perfect, but he has more then proved he loves his family more than himself. He and mama had enough health scares with some very sick babies to watch us like a paranoid nesting mother hawk till they knew we were healthy. May not have visited the hospital for every sniffle, but he had no problem playing home nurse when we needed it.
