That EL OH EL just drives me bonkers! They could laugh a little, snicker, chuckle or bust a gut laughing hysterically! I despise the saying of LOL. By the way, the writers are putting the “ laugh out loud“ at the end of ridiculous comments and statements. You can’t afford to pay. Why on earth would someone laugh out loud at that point? It just doesn’t flow with the sentence. If someone is making fun of you, then laughing hysterically is just not going to make a point. Stating it as a fact without laughing, would be better. There is a VA that does not say lol but she will do something appropriately… Whether it’s a smirk, a chuckle or nothing at all because it doesn’t fit. Others should follow her example.

He wants a mother & someone to finance him & his crappy mom.. I would've gotten rid of Cody a long time ago.. marriage is a partnership, it is based on mutual respect and love. 22:51 "But I can't just leave her, because she's my mother." Well, in that case, how about this: Bryce: Mom, I just saw screenshots of the things you said to my wife, about her, and about Violet, and about how you HATE YOUR OWN GRANDDAUGHTER, because she doesn't look like me, and how you just HAVE to have me come visit you SOOOOOOOOO frequently. Well, guess what, MOTHER. It backfired. I DO NOT WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN! I honestly don't want to see you again EVER IN MY LIFE. However, since you ARE my mother, and you DID give birth to me, I'll forgive you. IN ONE YEAR. That's right. Your hatred of my wife and my child, and your HORRIBLE behavior to them, has cost you. Instead of coming to visit you twice a month, I WILL NOT VISIT YOU, AT ALL, FOR 12 FULL MONTHS. In one year's time, I'll review you and your behavior. IF you have changed your tune, and learned to BEHAVE LIKE A SANE PERSON, then I will visit you again, ONCE PER MONTH, until you EARN more visits, BY ACTUALLY BEHAVING WELL, AND SHOWING POSITIVE IMPROVEMENT IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH MY WIFE AND WITH MY CHILD. If you don't improve your relationships with BOTH of them, then I will only visit you once a month, from then. However, if AT ANY POINT during this year's punishment period you lash out against my wife or against my child, IN ANY WAY AT ALL, by speaking ill of them or to them or doing anything unkind to them, at all, then the punishment period will be extended to TWO YEARS OF NO CONTACT WITH ME. And that is for the FIRST offence during this next year. If you actually offend twice, then it will become FIVE YEARS OF NO CONTACT. Three offences will earn you TEN YEARS OF NO CONTACT FROM ME. And if you offend a fourth time, IN ANY WAY, during those ten years of no contact with me, then you might as well forget you ever had a son. DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?! I have HAD IT WITH YOU! I will NOT forgive you for what you have done and said to my wife. She has had the patience of an angel with you, but ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. You crossed a line. As a mother to a child you love, you KNOW you have crossed the line. I love my daughter just as much as you ever loved me. Just imagine what you would have done if YOUR mother-in-law had said she hated ME, just because I look like YOU, instead of like Dad! Yeah. You'd be seeing red. Well, so am I. And my wife is ready to explode. AND SINCE I DO NOT WANT TO HAVE TO VISIT MY WIFE IN PRISON, I will make sure that she is NEVER PROVOKED BY YOU AGAIN. Understand?! I CHOOSE MY WIFE AND CHILD. And YOU have made the choice to cut me out of your life for an entire year. If you want me to visit you and help you clean and play board games or even just talk on the phone with you or message you again, THEN GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER AND BEHAVE YOURSELF. This is your ONLY warning. I will see you in ONE YEAR, unless you drive me away for longer. And just so that you don't screw it up, by pleading for mercy, while I'm NO CONTACT with you, I am blocking your number right now. You'll have to go out of your way to muck things up. Look, I'm actually making it EASY for you to LIMIT this to ONLY ONE YEAR. Just KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT, AND IGNORE US ALL. NO CONTACT means NO CONTACT. Goodbye!" And then block her from Bryce's phone. But leave the OP's phone alone, so that MIL can have a chance to blow it all, by contacting the wife, and saying, "This is your fault!" OP: Oh, you were NOT supposed to contact me. I'll just show this to Bryce, and now he won't talk to you for TWO YEARS. MIL: How dare you! You made him do that! OP: Wow. I guess you can't read. Well, now I'm free of you for FIVE WHOLE YEARS. Wanna push it to ten? Just say ONE MORE WORD TO ME. I will not hesitate to show it to my husband. In fact, I HOPE YOU DO. I HOPE that you screw it up TWO MORE TIMES, so that WE NEVER HAVE TO HAVE ANY CONTACT WITH YOU, EVER AGAIN. MIL: You witch! I'm going to SUE YOU! You STOLE MY BOY FROM ME! OP: Uh huh. You actually did it. You pushed it to ten years. Wow. It's been, like, five minutes, and you CHOSE to cut your son out of your life for TEN WHOLE YEARS. MIL: GIVE ME BACK MY BABY, YOU WHORE! OP: THANK YOU! Thank you SO MUCH! With this, I can show my husband that he does NOT need to keep you in his life, anymore. He was so pissed at you, and ready to cut you off, entirely, but refrained, because you're his mother. But now, thanks to YOUR CHOICES, he is FREE! He is 100% free, FOREVER! By the rules that he CLEARLY spelled out to you, before you contacted me, you have just cut him out, entirely, never to be seen or heard from him again. Enjoy your lonely life, ma'am, since apparently, that's what you want. You made your choice. Now, goodbye. And then, you show the screenshots to Bryce, and start packing your bags, so you can MOVE AWAY. Doesn't have to be far, just somewhere where she won't look to find you. Do NOT give her your address. Tell your mutual friends and relatives, "I gave her SO MANY chances, but she insisted on forcing me to break off relations, forever. DO NOT give my mother our new address. If you do, and we have to move AGAIN, then I will not hesitate to cut YOU off, as well. I WILL protect my wife and family. Don't push me, the way she did." And have OP block her number, as well. And make all your social media accounts strictly private, and DO NOT allow her permission to view ANYTHING about you and your life, on FaceBook, or anywhere else. And tell ALL your contacts, "I have been forced to go NO CONTACT with my mother. I have been forced to MOVE AWAY, so that she will not be able to find me and force contact again. I WILL PROTECT MY FAMILY. This is to say that anyone who tags me in a post or otherwise passes MY information on to her, and helps her to contact, harass, and abuse MY CHILD, as she has ALREADY DONE, then I will be DONE with that person, too. All you 'peacemakers' out there, who want to enforce 'but faaaaaaaaaaaamily' on MY LIFE need to understand that I AM DOING THIS TO PROTECT MY FAMILY AFTER MY MOTHER ABUSED THEM. And if you try to enforce YOUR wishes onto MY LIFE, then I will protect myself and my family from YOU, as well. Sometimes, you just have to CUT OUT THE CANCER, and this is one of those times. Faaaaaaaaaaamily is who I CHOOSE TO LOVE, not blood connections, and anyone who forces blood connections over love DOESN'T LOVE ME and IS NOT MY FAMILY. That is all." There will be fallout. There will be relatives who insist you MUST visit your mother. And you can cut them off, too. After you've cut out the cancers and all of the flying monkeys, the few people who are left will be TRUE FRIENDS and FOUND FAMILY, and you will be filled with peace and joy and love, just from knowing them. Oh, and in case you can't tell, I HATE BRYCE'S MOTHER for what she said about her own grandchild, and I HATE IT WHEN SONS FAIL TO PROTECT THEIR OWN CHILDREN FROM THEIR OWN PARENTS, just because, 'But she's my mother!" YOU are a FATHER, so BE A FATHER and PROTECT YOUR CHILD FROM ALL ENEMIES, INCLUDING THE ONES WHO BORE YOU.

Are the VA's instructed to say L-O-L to make the character more unlikable?

Re: Last story. Why doesn't Cody's wife put the house on the market? After she punches him of course.

Why in the world would a woman, who's husband pushed her down the stairs (hard enough to miscarry), want her husband to go see her and comfort her in the hospital? There would be a lawyer who would come to see me and divorce papers sent to him instead. Wow. The SOB would never know what hit him. Another mother who can't let go of her son, in the 2nd story ... sounds sick to me. The LOL in the 3rd story is truly annoying ... stop saying LOL and laugh instead and not every sentence is funny, therefore there is no need to put an LOL at the end of them. The 4th story ... what did the mother do with her money from selling her house? She can buy another one. Funny how the conceited husband gives his wife the night to move out, but when the tables are turned, he cries, lol.
