I had a similar situation in my first engagement. My ex fiancé had very good women and friends, so he said. We weren’t engaged yet, and there was a company picnic that he had and he said he was taking his “friend“ with him instead of me. It upset me greatly, especially when he told me that his so-called friend was someone he once had romantic feelings for, but she rebuffed him. Even after all of my protesting and hurt feelings, he ended up calling me at the end of the day of the picnic, and told me that it was a mistake to bring her because all she wanted to do was smoke and drink wine instead of doing activities at the picnic like swimming and hiking. I was never a girly girl, and most of my interests, hobbies and work have been in traditionally male areas. I never viewed the guys as possible romantic partners, but simply as people with shared interests. And that was a twoway thing - they saw me as one of the boys, and treated me accordingly. There was no flirting between us, though they would flirt with some other women, as and when. I guess one could say that our conversations AND body language made it very clear that it's just boys here, and romance is not even a distant glint on the horizon. Indeed, after being backstabbed by some bitches, I definitely preferred the company of guys, because they tended to be more honest and open. And their interests were far wider than those of most women I came across. It was literally more interesting to hang around with the guys (except when they were trying to fry their brains with heavy drinking) than with the women. So yeah, being friends and friends only IS possible.

The storyline was EXCELLENT & INTERESTING...I liked the voice actors Which made the storyline Both EXCELLENT & INTERESTING..I like stories where the mother is on the injured Party Side...

My (ex) husband had a bizarrely close relationship with his older sister. Hindsight being 20-20, it should have been a red flag. This story is a GIANT red flag with fireworks and rockets. About the 2nd time he dumped plans with me to hang with Lacey... I'd have ended it.

If you have to keep insisting that you’re “ just friends” you most likely aren’t. Trevor is lying to himself and to Amy. Lacey needs to find another guy to impose upon. Her “issue” should have been dealt with on the phone; no need to have someone break a date. I can’t believe he bought rings for both women; talk about “there’s three in this relationship “. Trevor is buying his way into Lacey’s bed and she’s angling for his money. What jerks!
