Apple II Computer Evolution (1977-1993)

Evolution of the Apple II Line (Produced from 1977-1993).
Here are pictures of every unique Apple II computer I own. It includes all the major Apple II models released. Not included: Apple II clones, Clear Light Superstar, Tiger Learning Computer, ROM revisions within the same model, minor cosmetic changes within the same model.

I've had a very long running EPIC idea that doubles as a joke of having a MODERN computer fitting inside authentic APPLE II casing! LOLLLLLL!

The IIe had several other revisions along the way. In 1984, Apple updated its case and keyboard (it got a new case made out of dyed instead of painted plastic, and small black letters on the keys instead of large white letters), and in March 1985, they introduced the "Enhanced IIe", with updated firmware, including MouseText characters.

Yeah, I only got it about 2 months back! Took me about 3 years to finally find one for an affordable price from an estate sale. Amazing condition and works great!

When I was a little kid in school, I did notice that some of the IIe's had different keyboards and said "Apple //e" when you turned them on, instead of "APPLE ][". (The Platinum IIe's came later... I think around 1988 was when my school district first got them.)

Didn't know you had a standard Apple II. It looks immaculate, nice! If it's an old monitor-rom version, any chance of a short review to demonstrate what the earliest IIs were like?

Fun fact: Apple II computers were used in running game show boards like on "Tic-Tac-Dough".

Yeah, I consider those "small changes" that wouldn't really contrast much when put side-by-side. There were also about 3 different versions of the original Apple II case. :)

Same thing here. Would like one too (was around at the time, admire the engineering, etc..) but am unwilling to pay crazy-prices; "jobs"-hype or not. Congrats, it sure found a good home!
