I have worked in shops with expensive tools, i have also repaired removal with heat guns from walmart! A pro can find a way with anything! Keep up the good work! You're the Man these guys in these shops could never use cheaper make it work tools!

Wouldn’t it be easier if you remove the entire back glass assembly and then start removing glass from the metal plate?

Yes. You can do that. I feared that doing that might make it much more easier to bend the metal piece and later when installed it won't be 100% flat and push against the back glass might not be sealed very well.

I certainly could have done it the way you said and if the metal piece is not bent too much the result will be the same.

Why you said that? This is the glass replacement. You can replace the whole back glass if you buy a back glass with the metal shield pre-installed just need to transfer the circuit on the back of the old glass. Then the easiest is to buy a back glass with coil and circuit alredy attached on it then you remove the old glass and circuit and replace it with the new glass and circuit. Pretty straightforward. If you don't understand everything in this comment I can't help you beyond your understanding 😊

I don't do this for a living. I have diplomas. I am an engineer with a degree. There's no repair shop showing how to fix stuff simply because it's bad for business. I don't own a shop then I will continue educating people. You like the video you don't like it. I don't care and many other people will find the videos helpful. You and your friends are less than 1% of my audience. If you know better go make videos. I should just do like big youtuber don't respond to comments that do not bring any value and block them quietly 🤣.
