I’v been using the XS for 6 years …wanted to upgrade to 16, as it looks so nice with just two cameras…however, when scrolling it felt the same as my XS…so ended up with the 16 Pro, it feels much more professional.. and much quicker when scrolling and typing.. the only thing I don’t like and feel is a downgrade is the weight it’s actually a little too heavy for my liking, even the XS was a little heavy all these years.. hopefully I will get used to it..

Thanks for your honesty about the camera limitations. I don’t know why it’s so hard for Apple to get this right. I’m upgrading from the iPhone 12, which had several issues-including masking the images when I tried to get a close up. The current model also has sound and midware issues, which I refused to pay for! Looking forward to the other upgrades.

To be honest, I just switched to my new iPhone 16 Pro Max from an S24 Ultra, I would prefer the less noisy videography. Though to subtle differences would be the amount of noise the S24 Ultra has and a lot of decompression.

I have the 13 pro max and I am not sure if I should upgrade, currently got the 128gb and I have 40gb left and I am about to max out my 200gb of cloud (I take a lot of pictures and videos and I have a mac which shares the cloud storage), thinking of upgrading to the 16 pro max 256gb.. for those who have upgraded, is it truly worth it? I really like my 13 pro max and I do get a decent battery (obviously not like it used to be but with using it all day I get to around 30%.

I bought my 2nd iPhone 16 Pro max. The first one was manufactured in July 2024 and the 2nd one was manufactured in Sept 2024. I can fell a difference in Face ID detection. The one from July 2024 is a bit slower and detects farther compared to the other one. There could be more differences in performance. You might want to take a look and do an in depth test for your next video.

The telephoto camera needs an upgrade from 12MP to 48MP. The 5X optical zoom is OK, but from 10X onwards I don't think it's that good. Probably the improvement of the periscope camera will come next year. The ultrawide camera, now renewed, was not as important as the telephoto camera.

I noticed that the screen of the 16PM is yellowish compared to older models, and it’s dimmer as well. It seems like there’s a bug with palm rejection, so sometimes the screen becomes unresponsive, and the keyboard becomes delayed frequently.

@BerkanTanriverdi-b6c yes when I’m gaming because I play games like call of duty and silent hill so let’s say my phone is at 85 if I play cod and get a good 7 8 games in back to back when I look up my phone is at 66 or 59 most times it could be in the 60 range which is not bad compared to when I played on my 13pm and 85 would turn into 40 30 fast eventually but my battery health is at 87 on the 13 so I’m sure that is a reason as well on why it’s dying kind of fast but if you don’t game too heavy like 8 9 games like me you will stay have a real good charge unless you get a faulty phone I know for a fact when I don’t touch those games my charge will last me until the next day

@BerkanTanriverdi-b6c or once again if you play games for a little while you should definitely see a difference in the two phone’s performance because there are a few great things I love about the 16 and keep in mind they don’t give crash detection to none of the old phones (which clearly sucks bad) but I know the 16 line up has this feature which is great is someone gets in a crash and can’t reach or call anyone could save a few lives if it hasn’t already
