Atp if Apple only aims for 20% max uplift per generation, android will overtake them in less than 2 years. Infact if leaks are true, the snapdragon 8 gen 4 is less than 10% slower (or even lower than 10%) than Apple in single core tests. There will be a point that no matter how good your software is, it simply cannot beat good hardware. Hell they don't even have the best camera hardware. No amount of software can get the amount of light a bigger camera sensor can receive.
