Tbh I think for a lot of people, getting a new phone is more due to fixing the current one is becoming financially unethical rather than the new ones being way better. Although the 16 is much better, it’s not like the older one is useless or anything, quite the opposite actually

Unless you need the camera features of the iPhone 16 Pro, the iPhone 16 is a better choice. I have an iPhone 16 Plus myself and frankly, I don't see any isues eveh with the 60 Hz refresh rate.

iPhone 16 - all models only support 160MHz WIFI 7, that’s why in all wireless speed tests they have exactly half the max download speed of S24 Ultra and OnePlus 12 (these support 320MHz)

A used 13 pro max is the best value big iPhone you can get. Probably $250 cheaper than the 16 plus and you aren’t losing out on much while you gain 120hz if that’s what you’re looking for. And the 13 mini is still an amazing value for the small phone enthusiasts among us.
