It's a nice new change to things, but I've always thought the iPhone 4/4S looked better in black, whereas the iPhone 5/5S looks better in white or silver as they call it now. I do however really like the Space Grey and probably would have gotten that if the iPhone 5 metal was the grey color too! :D

I love this phone. Even though it's still small in size compared to today's phones, it has a 16:9 (widescreen) aspect ratio screen, which is one of the firsts that Apple offered in that ratio (the 5 was the first). It helps also that Apple didn't put electronic (virtual) home button and cursor arrows right on the screen like many Androids, which obstructs the enjoyment of a whole screen graphics and video display.

5S wasn't my first iPhone and I don't have any particularly fond memories with it, but looking back I'd consider it the best phone Apple has made (factoring in the time when it was released, of course). The phone was snappy and powerful, the design was beautiful and refined, iOS7 felt fresh and worked well on it, using touch ID after years of entering password over and over felt great, the 16:9 aspect ratio was very sweet for watching almost anything, and the battery life was good too. Just a great package overall.
