Rocking the saddle brown on my space grey X. Specifically because of that AMAZING patina over time. Though I do like the way the polished stainless steel silver iPhone looks in that black case. I just couldn’t get over the silver back. I almost wish the space grey still had the bright frame.

I bought a taupe leather folio, a cosmos blue and another taupe case to use whilst using camera a lot. All in all it cost £250 on top of iPhone X silver 256gb and two years warranty. I can still say it’s the best iPhone yet and didn’t mind spending the extra cash for it. Good video by the way😀

I have this leather case (with front cover) and I wonder if my phone’s fast deterioration of battery health has to do with heat trapped by leather case, especially while charging, whether opening the cover while charging would help.

I am still stuck trying to decide between cosmos blue and the black. Did you by chance notice any difference whatsoever in consistency between the two? In the past the black one has been softer but more slippery than the lighter colors (prior generations). It is very slight though. Did you notice anything like that? Lol; yeah I'm totally OCD.

Does the leather cases scratch the sliver around the edges? I ask because the leather cases don’t have the micro fiber on the inside edges.

The polished edges will get micro scratches no matter what. I don’t think it’s worth the effort to keep it pristine.

+thecloudboundsound I don’t notice a difference in grip. Applying mink oil would clean the case and darken it. Also, applying any leather conditioner would make it smoother.

Leather Apple case for iPhone X very questionable quality. I had the equivalent Apple leather case on my old iPhone 6 Plus. Its lasted excellently for well over 3 years with no marks or splits. I was so impressed I was recommending these cases despite the very high price tag. I had the equivalent leather case on my iPhone X and after a week a split in the leather had developed. I immediately contacted Apple, sent photos of the split and after two weeks wait and two hours on the phone, they refused to replace the case. The leather on the iPhone X case is very very substandard compared to my old iPhone 6 plus case. I am both equally disgusted with the quality of the case and Apple customer care. Not happy and will be actively reflecting this sentiment in any social conversations that I engage in if the subject arrises.
