Saddle brown will ALWAYS be my favorite color on the leather cases. I had one for my iPhone X and used with my XS and the way it ages is just 😍😍😍 that was the only case I used for both the iPhone X and XS (I got a black one too but I used the saddle or own more)

@@FPSTUGA YYYAAASSSS!!!! It’s the most beautiful color when it starts to age. You would start seeing it about 2 weeks later. It’ll start to patina. A Month later you’ll notice it more. The saddle brown is honestly the best apple leather color anyone can get, followed by black💯. Those are the 2 that patina the best. Not only that, those 2 colors also enhances the elegance of the case and phone too

It is a clash; those are complimentary colors, but they are not when used together in the full spectrum. Used together subtly is much more pleasing, especially in photographs (blue in the shadows, orange in the highlights).

Depends on the shade. I have the blue regular 12 model and was planning on getting the kumquat silicone case for exactly that reason. Thankfully the apple store lets you preview what each color of phone looks like because the blue on the 12 is much too dark to compliment the kumquat. Ended up going with the plum which I think looks a lot better. The cyprus green also looks nice. Personally I dont think the regular 12 blue looks very good with any of the leather cases and the pacific blue really only works with the baltic blue case imo.

I like the combo but a Baltic blue case on a California orange poppy camera module popping would look better. Subtle bright color pop is the way to go

I had the blue 12 pro case but ended up returning it as I went for the Pro max but tbh it doesn’t look great in person. I decided to go for the spigen crystal clear case on Amazon for £9/$10 and that will showcase the lovely pacific blue colour of my phone.

I bought both the Apple leather case and OtterBox Commuter for my 12 Pro Max. The OtterBox gives better protection, but it takes a lot to press the buttons. The Apple case buttons are a dream in comparison.

Great review as always. I wish Apple would’ve continued the speaker holes on the leather like they did on the silicone cases. I remember the leather case I had for the iPhone 5 and loved that detail about them. There are some on Amazon with the perforated speaker holes that line up with the hardware, but as you’d expect, the quality isn’t great. I have the Baltic Blue one on order, nevertheless, because I’m a sucker.

Hi Aaron, interesting that you showed the RavPower Qi charger as that’s one of the Qi chargers that won’t charge my iPhone 12 Pro (even with 14.2) Apple store said that “not all Qi chargers will work with the 12 series phones” despite the website claims. They argue that firmware in the chargers are to blame.
