Hello friends! I make a lot of apple jam every year. Those who have been with me for a long time know that in winter my house always smells of pastries: pies, buns, rolls, bagels ... These are my favorite recipes: quick, simple and always thick)))
1. Marmalade
This jam is perfect not only for baking, but also for tea drinking instead of sweets. I cut it with a knife, it does not melt at room temperature and completely replaces dessert.
To make the jam light, I cut the apples into the water.
4-5 kg. apples, I do not weigh how many will go into the pan
For 1 liter of applesauce I add from 600 to 800 gr. sugar, depends on the variety of apples (sweetness, ripeness)
1 tsp citric acid
Optionally, you can add 1 tsp. cinnamon, I didn’t have it at the moment - it’s a pity, it turns out very tasty.
2. For baking.
Thick jam, moderately sweet, with fruit fragments.
For 1 liter of puree, 300 gr. will be enough, I adjust the cooking time to the desired consistency.

All blanks are perfectly stored at room temperature.
