Apple Leather Case vs Apple Silicone Case on iPhone 13 Pro | Which is better?

Today I share my thoughts on the iPhone leather case vs the iPhone silicone case and which one I would ultimately buy.

Silicone just looks dirty after a while. Leather cases age best. All the scratches and marks give it a personal touch and makes it unique. I have the midnight and golden brown ones for my 13PM. I love midnight one. But I prefer the saddle brown ones they used to do instead of golden brown. I hope saddle brown comes back with the 15 models.

Yeah that’s a good point. I feel like the midnight green didn’t age that well.

@@AndrewClare I think you have the sequoia green. There’s no midnight green for the 13 pro. That’s the nice thing about leather. After some time it will show marks and dents and scratches. That makes it your case.

_"Leather cases age best."_ I have seen photos of users of the leather case on a well-known forum, and I have not seen more terrible consequences of wear.

@@Oleg__ still better than silicone. I don’t know what they’re doing with their phones. If you “play football” with it then the cases will look accordingly. If you look after it the cases will age great.

I have both red silicone and black leather, I Love both but I Just wish there was a red leather one like there was before

Leather case 100%, only 10€ difference but that feel is amazing. I just love my dark cherry, next one gonna be green one for sure :)

Yeah it’s actually really close. Next iPhone I get I’m definitely getting both but different colors.

@@AndrewClare unfortunately the quality of leather is different from x/xs line up. I miss saddle brown color with great patina :/

@@s4mu3lito2 yes I remember it being a bit nicer. Had black leather on my iPhone 11 as well. It was a little bit better quality

Even if they cost the same, I would still choose the silicone case. For me, it is better in literally every aspect.

I don’t like the silicone case because when I used it the case always got cracks on the silicone when I dropped it the leather doesn’t so now I use the leather dark cherry 13 pro

I got problems when having both leather and silicone case - For the leather, it turned black after a time using, especially the edge to the front, it's the first area to turn black, then the holding edge. - For the silicone, it doesn't change the color, but it's very sticky to dust and your pants pocket, stickiest when you put your phone in and take it out. Do you have any solutions? Thank in advance.

Dirty in what way? If you clean it you should be good. I said in the video the silicone case wins for me. But I also really like the leather. What exactly is the most important thing for you in a case? I can help maybe decipher which is better for you

I think Leather is a bit overrated. Although i understand why people like it. But i just prefer the feel of Silicone. I like the soft feel, it's good for people hypoallergenic people, and i feel they age better imo (Worn out Leather cases look cool, but not exactly beautiful. Especially in formal settings). But i think it's a no brainer to get a Leather case with only a $10 difference. But it ain't for me tho.

The silicone case is total waste of money. The leather case on the other hand is much better product. Definitely pay the extra money for the leather one.

They’re about the same. Only difference is the leather scratches really easy

People should stop this obsession with their case, it’s meant to protect your phone. I’ll always choose the leather because the price difference from the silicone is not significant. iPhone is expensive alone, off course I want a case that feels premium with it
