Wet ingredient 1 Apple peeled and cubed 3/4 cup granulated sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 cup vegetable oil 2 eggs 1/2 cup Greek yoghurt 1tspn vanilla extract 1 and 1/2 cup all purpose flour 2 tspn baking powder 1/2 tspn baking soda, all sifted goes in wet ingredients Topping mixed n crumble over batter 1/4 cup granulated brown sugar 1 tspn cinnamon 1 tablespoon melted butter Bake under 350° for 30 - 35 mins

This was absolutely delicious. I had to double it because my husband loved it and he ate all of it. I did get a taste. Delish! I substituted the sugar for coconut sugar and a bit of maple syrup, and used coconut oil instead of vegetable oil, instead of flour I used almond flour. 😊

I made this for the first time.. and oh my, it was yum!! For those who have asked about not having greek yoghurt and using natural yoghurt - I had to use natural yoghurt as I didn't have greek yoghurt at hand. Since natural yoghurt has more liquid, I added an extra 1/4 cup of flour. It came out really moist!! Also used 2 british gala apples (what I had at home), I think it complimented the cinnamon flavour really well. Also, at the end you must add the glaze.. it'll help to keep it more moist. A must try!!

Thank you for this simple yet brilliant recipe. Honestly the best cake I've made in recent times... I just changed the sugar topping to a streusel topping( 1/3rd cup brown sugar, 1/3rd cup caster sugar, 1/2 cup flour, 1/3 cup rolled oats, 1.5 tsps cinnamon powder. Combine by adding 1/3 cup melted salted butter until the mixture looks like coarse sand)

It turned out amazing, my modifications- did not peel apple, normal yogurt. 3/5 cup sugar, 2 tbsp baking powder(I did not have baking soda) It was soft and beautiful and lovely taste.

@@itsthepasteggs yes, the cake will bake without yogurt, it will have a slightly different taste though. You can add milk instead of yogurt. Make sure the consistency is as shown in the video.
