Nobody complained when they sold their iPad on the same price for 5 years like it's not fair to put more expensive newer parts inside but get the same price for it (even the 2018 iPad Pro started there..) By the way the price just match the price for previous iPads.. probably the same situation like with iPhone 15 Pro Max, they removed the 128GB variant from the list.. and if it start right with 512Gb (so even the 256GB is removed), the price basically unchanged (it was the same even in 2018, for the 512GB model..)

What differentiates in physical appearance of this iPhone 16 from other latest iPhones only who understand the person that using it. Durability also is coming less with 15 from previous iPhone. My point is the price is getting higher but only few features are added.

I don’t think that price increase will be that much but one of the main reasons for this price increase is the redesigning of the entire internal components. This is make it easy to repair (because currently they are a nightmare) and also way more efficient. This allows for plenty of room for those upgrades that people could suggest.

I have Apple Watch series 8, so if I wish to keep the blood oxygen feature I should not update, for recent watches will not have the software enabled and I'm guessing in the first update all will be disabled. Is this the way to go?

I mean, I'm running WatchOS 10.3 RC and the blood oxygen sensor appears to still be working for my series 8 apple watch. I think they're just gonna leave the blood oxygen app functional. According to the New York Times, "The change won’t affect smartwatches currently in use. People with Apple watches capable of detecting their blood-oxygen levels can continue to use that feature." I also saw something earlier stating that the sensor was still inside the watch, but it just shows that it cant use it because of a software update.

Yep, I have 13 pro max. I really love that phone but I like to change phones every 2 years, sadly both 14 pm and 15pm are literally nothing better and nothing new compared to my 13 pro max. Samsung redeemed themselves with giving us snapdragon in Europe so finally I can change back to s24 ultra. Before iPhone I had s20fe 5g also just because it had snapdragon instead of this weak exynos 😅. Apple was really good in making smartphones but it ended in last 2 years

Definitely Not an Apple Fan. They should Pay just as they charge their customers. A 3yr old can figure out an iPhone in minutes & it takes years to learn everything an Ultra phone can offer. Heck, my Wife's 13 Pro is & has always got super hot that you cannot hold it & Apple has never helped us. It's even updated to the latest version but it's the top Apple store Free Word Search Game that triggers it getting so hot that in the freezer it goes! I don't what logical person would pay that much for Vision Pro! I paid less than that for my 7yr truck that is still beautiful & running fine to date. Crazy people buy crazy things. Apple has been very quiet about it also. Samsung will take the lead next quarter after this S24 Ultra launch.

That’s a lie, Apple quality is superior, ecosystem is far superior, resell value more, and processing/gpu is better in Apple. The big reason is Apple doesn’t have all that extra bloatware that Android phones must have causing them to crash just months down the road.

​@@Xx_aXtion_xXApple's quality sucks. The iPhone has had issues on the 15 with thermal throttling much earlier than the 23 Ultra and dimming the display as well as overheating often. That's why the iPhone has issues with crashing. The ecosystem is terrible as well. Samsung has fridges, washing machines, and more onboard their ecosystem. Moreover, Samsung has DeX and integrates amazingly with the Tab S8. The S8's dual front camera is superior to the iPad as well. Even the Gen 3 is faster than Apple's chip from the same year.

From my experience the base models of I Phones always have good quality, the thing is while they cost you half a liver they also last you very long, with Apple adding one feature each year you don’t have to upgrade so often. I recently made the jump from I Phone 8 to I Phone 14, I can tell you that this phone is going to last me as long as your truck, even though I will most likely upgrade in case the I Phone 18 or anything after that has better zoom cameras and stuff like that. I do agree though, Apple isn’t an innovator, Samsung is pushing it but Apple products often come with the benefit of smooth software and hardware that doesn’t get outdated fast, I always had my Samsung crash on me multiple times per week whereas my I Phone never crashes or becomes unresponsive. But that’s just my opinion, I think Samsungs and anything not from Apple is great too in it’s own way

After the Snapdragon 865 processor (followed by the 870, 888, 8 Gen 1,8 Gen 2) and Android 10 up they're reliable and smooth. The new 8 Gen 3 is now faster than the Bionic 17 with onboard AI. Bloatware is a thing of the past and if it exists it is easy to uninstall. Eventually... Companies rest in their laurels and get left behind... To make expensive glasses no one will buy.

The price of OLED is not the only drawback. The other one is that they burn in. That is they will retain a ghost image if something is displayed long enough. Really any device with any kind of OLED display should be using its selfie camera to silently watch to see if you are looking at the display at all and discreetly turn the display off if you are not looking and would not notice it anyhow. That would help make burn in less likely to happen. The only problem with that is a lot of people would think the phone is spying on them and depending on who makes it there may very well be that going on. It is hard to say with so much of those shenanigans going on these days.

so wait a minute, so the Apple ultra watch that I have might no longer be able to be useful for the oximetry that I bought it for. Let me tell you something can you say class action suit because there’s many people just like me bought it for exactly that reason I actually waited for it to come out and if it doesn’t work anymore, and it’s still under the warranty. I will ask for a full refund on the watch and also find out about doing a class action suit. Unbelievable.
