please what temperature did you use?
@GadgetGearGuide3GsКүн бұрын
I used 90°C for the back glass removal, which is what I typically use for most back glass and screen replacements. It provides enough heat to soften the adhesive without causing damage. Let me know if you have any other questions!

thanks for replying… and how many minutes do you allow the phone to heat on the LCD Separator? but please is it an LCD Separator?
@GadgetGearGuide3GsКүн бұрын
You're welcome! Yeah, an LCD separator or a regular heat plate should work. The main difference is that an LCD separator has a built-in vacuum to hold the screen in place, while a regular heat plate doesn’t. I usually heat it for about 1 minute at 90°C to soften the adhesive. Hope this helps

okay can LCD Separator also produce heat?
@GadgetGearGuide3Gs21 сағат бұрын
Yes most LCD separator machines produce up to 120 degrees Celsius of heat

It would be really helpful if you shared the details of what you were doing instead of working in silence. For example, what temperature is the hot plate at? What solvent are you using? What is the advantage / disadvantage of removing the entire back assembly instead of just the glass?
@GadgetGearGuide3Gs2 ай бұрын
@albatross9127 Thanks so much for the comment, I really appreciate it! This is just an unedited version for those who like to watch the full process, but I also make detailed step-by-step guides you can find on my channel with a playlist too, where I explain everything you mentioned, like temperatures, solvents, and the pros and cons. Please check out the playlist, which I will continue to update for those who want more details. I’ll be making a video covering the points you mentioned soon, but keep the comments coming! If you have more questions, feel free to ask, I’ll do my best to answer as much as possible. To answer you question about the advantage / disadvantage of removing the entire back assembly instead of just the glass? The two main advantages will be time saving, and cost on parts like the back housing is more expensive than just the back glass. I will look to making a video just on this. Thanks you!
