Apple Music lossless audio: Airpods, AirPods Pro Max will not be supported.
Apple Music lossless audio support will come to Homepods via future update .
Apple Music lossless audio: India, USA and all the countries will receive the update this June for enabling this format along with Dolby Atmos.
Apple Music Spatial audio with dolby support will be available for all the regions and will be also released along side.
All AirPods and Pro Max along with HomePods can take advantage of this format.
Spatial audio dolby atmos: AirPods pro can play it but not the lossless format thought and that's a big bummer when you pay so much but can't access Apple Music lossless (2021)
Spatial Audio: AirPods 1st and 2nd Gen can finally use this feature without being pro but only when it come to music. Spatial audio movies will not be accessible.

My personal favorite is hi res lossless. However, I hope Dolby atmos lossless comes out in the future. I used an iPhone dock connected to my vintage pioneer receiver and it’s amazing how even solid state amps from the 1970s can keep up with hi res audio.

You are right. But even if lightning earbuds offer lossless, their drivers are subpar they won’t provide a better audio experience. It’s like putting rocket fuel inside a school bus. It won’t drive faster

Atmos will turn all EQ'd and compressed unreal drums in electronic pop rap music real again. But seriously, Atmos can open up the dynamic range that the artist may have intentionally crushed to death. Dynamic compression kills instrument separation. I'm surprised Apple wrapped Dolby and didn't invent their own codec as they've done in the past.

Apple releases everything in Lossless with Dolby Atmos and Spatial audio for the most HiRes sound approach and then *compresses everything over a 300kb bluetooth codec to a pair of cheap AirPods* - sounds about right....

@@WhatsTheHype It's mostly how every manufacturer has dived onto the "HiRes" marketing and format yet insists that wireless earbuds or headphones are the answer when they get nowhere near CD quality bit rates 1000kb/s. Sony's LDAC codec gets close but it's exclusive to their products.

Apple should licence LDAC from Sony and implement in their products but again, they won’t do that,they are all in on Dolby atoms for some reason

@@WhatsTheHype Problem just licensing costs. Dolby are incredibly inclusive and will happily have their tag tied with any company. Apple would likely have to pay a LOT to Sony to get LDAC support.
