The guy had a girlfriend that was the daughter of a CEO and he was going to inherit the company through his ties to her, and it sounds like they have been together for years. So why was he still living in his parents house instead of being moved in with her? Also, it sounds like he was SECRETLY depositing money into the family account since his father lost his job a year ago, so it not like they knew they were actually sponging off the person they thought were worthless. Also, he was raised by his Grandparents until they died and his parents forced him to drop out of high school and get a job, so its not like he had any affection for his parents. So it doesn't make a lot of sense for him to stick around...unless he set himself up for the abuse and abandonment as a method to cut ties for the leeches for good. If he had moved out on his own earlier, they might have started paying attention to his claims about his net worth and been constantly badgering him for money. That's still a lot of needless suffering on his part though.

"Some guy said that you quit your job seven years ago. Therefore, you have been unemployed since then!" Wow, I sincerely hope that family didn't dislocate a hip while leaping to that conclusion. EDIT: "I was told to leave without any chance to explain my side." What, you think that would've helped? Explaining your side to a group of people who assume everything you say is a lie?

One thing that makes this story unrealistic because if they suspected that he was lying they could have just ASKED him where he works then show up at the workplace to meet him there. For example I used to work in a newspaper factory and if my family suspected that I was lying about the job they could just come visit me at work, or his family could have PHONED the place he CLAIMED to work at such and such industries or whatever the title is and asked for him by name telling the receptionist that they are his family and need to speak to him.

The way Data Protection works at my work place, I can deny knowing anyone works there, even if they stood beside me when I answered the phone. We can't just say "Yes, he works here. He's here right now, do you want to talk with him?" I'd have to take their name & number and let the person phone them back if they infact, know & want to talk with them. (It's how I found out a debt collection agency was after a work mate, cause they called so often despite me sharing the info they had given me with the workmate, and I looked up the number... agency didn't have any legal ground in our country, but they needed to talk to workmate to then set up a repayment plan via our local sheriff.

Sister's "logic" is indisputable here... "Duuuuuh... Meet brother friend today. Friend say brother quit job 7 year ago. Hur dur... Brother no have job all this time for sure!" "Me log in to brother bank account. Last deposit happen 1 year ago. This obviously mean that how much he make a year! No question about it!"

Yeah, none of this is real. The setup is too good. And any account that has $7500 for 7 years would have huge interest added to it.
