Important advice, ladies: do NOT, under ANY circumstances, put the house in HIS name, if it was given to YOU. ESPECIALLY if you have no JOB. The greedy bastard will try to kick you out EVERY time! And, what IS it with all these mothers who are widows, not being able to STAND living alone? Were they ALL only children? No siblings? Living alone sounds like HEAVEN. regarding the mothers, it's something I've been thinking about: the problem is a society one. It's clear from the husband's opinion and the conversations about what his mother does that both have been raised with the idea that a woman's main reason to be is to take care of her family, aka her husband and kids. She's there MAINLY, if not ONLY, for the sole purpose of making THEIR lives the best possible by keeping the house clean, doing the shopping, laundry and cooking, and driving the children to any extra-activities they might have. Having things she might want to do is secondary, if taken into account at all. If a woman who's whole life-meaning is centred around her husband and kids looses her husband once her kids are grown up and have left the house, what does she have left? She's never had even a hobby, once she became a wife. All that gave her existence a meaning according to her upbringing and further conditioning under her husband is gone. She has NOTHING left to live for, since she never had a life of her own. Of course she'd want to live with one of her children, as that would give her life meaning again. If we don't want such mothers to exist, we should erase the idea of a wife/mother's whole existence being centred around her husband/children. She should have a life of her own, aside from being housekeeper and caretaker. then she would not feel left adrift once she ends up all alone.

I’m halfway through this VERY LONG video, and I’m getting irritated at the level of spousal abuse and delusional behavior being displayed by the husband. Even 20 minutes would have been too long. This channel needs an editor. The female VA is pretty nice to listen to, but the male VA is horrible. Every second of him talking is a waste of time. edit: the first 26 minutes could have been cut to 3-4 minutes just by cutting the repetitive phrases, the good part of the story starts after that so do yourself a favor and just skip to that point.

I think OP was tried of her husband from his treatment of her before the in-laws moved in. And the way he kept pushing for the house to be in his name. No one needs to deep clean a house everyday. Not even every week. I would extend that to not even every month. Somethings you clean as you use them, e.g., the bathroom and kitchen. Other things are cleaned in a thing called a washing machine, then transferred to its buddy, the dryer. In the kitchen, there is also that water spraying thing called a dishwasher, but you do have to load it, then empty it. My least favorite chore is dodging that damn shark. That sucker always knows where I am! Life is hard.
