If you can't trust your partner to be there for you, to the point you feel the need to "Test" them to see if they'll be willing to help you, then that relationship was doomed to begin with. Katie wanted someone at her level, which in and of itself is understandable. But she never trusted him to reach that level, and tossed him aside when he couldn't meet her unreasonable expectations. But she didn't count on him having friends who had his back, and it cost her everything. Well, she's still young, so maybe she can still turn things around... Maybe. When I got together with my husband I had a debt that I was paying off and in that moment it was just a little over 100 euros. Not more than that. But I didn't ask him for help. When he found out he asked me why I never asked him. I told him that it's my debt and I m not with him for money. I payed it off alone. You dont have to put down a man just because he cant shower you with money. We all work hard for our paycheck. If you have a debt deal with it yourself. And being in debt for such a stupid reason too.

You might have one as well, but why didn't you give Billie your normal voice and a variation to Bruce? They are really high pitched, the sound is unnatural and for me kinda painful to listen to... Sooo - Katie expected her BOYFRIEND to pay off her debt, going into debt himself, without having a job yet? This 'test' showed her true colours, as she clearly would't do the same for him! You can offer to help paying if you are married, but it is never your responsibility. As much as it hurts when she broke up with Billie - he dodged a huge bullet here!

Tonne is actually correct. A "ton" and a "tonne" are actually different units of measure. If you're in the US, the easy way to remember it is 2000lbs is a Ton, while 1000kg is a tonne (or metric Ton). In the future, you might want to double-check and make sure you're right before you go correcting people.
