I thoroughly enjoy a MIL with common sense. She realized she didn't raise Tim right and is trying to make it up to Julie. Julie was a fool for putting up with Tim and sarah for as long as she did. They weren't hiding the fact they just saw her as a Housekeeper and free babysitter... Tim didn't want Julie back because he loved and misses her.. he just needed her to come back to take care of him and the housework..

MIL is the VIP! She is amazing and really took care of this whole situation for Julie. It was great that Jacqueline was able to call her grandmother right away and knew how serious the situation was. Jacqueline has more common sense and was more concerned about this medical emergency than two selfish adults.

Damn, the MIL gave it to Tim and Sarah with both barrels and I'm all for it. Tim thought that he could treat his wife like a slave and Sarah wanted to use her as a free babysitter so she could run around and avoid her responsibilities to her own child.

Then Jacqueline would have been locked out all day. Sarah just dumped her and ran without waiting to see whether Julie opened the door. Maybe a neighbor would have seen and called the police, but it would still have been dangerous for Jacqueline.

Good morning, everyone! MIL is great, but this OP is so dumb! 104-degree fever and hubby abandons you and refuses to take you to a doctor? Call an ambulance. SIL abandons her kid at the door after being told no? Call police and CPS, since that is child neglect and endangerment. This story would have taken 3 minutes, if OP acted like a normal human being.

It's nice to see some stories on here with a MIL who isnt a wicked witch, and can see the flaws in her dumbass son. We have a multi-generational house because my son and DIL, instead of hiring a nanny or putting their babies into daycare, gave those babies someone who'd love them as much as their parents do. I've been "Granny Nanny" for over ten years. I've helped raise these kiddos from babyhood to now. They're becoming independent and definitely don't need the watchful eye they once did, but as a family, it can work. I have the best son and DIL in the world. I can't imagine living out my old lady years any other way.

At 2:44,stop talking to this braindead idiot. Call a family member /friend to take you to the hospital. At 6:11,stop talking to her. Call the cops, report child abandoned. 8:48,smartest thing you've done. Giving all tge details to MIL. 13:12, keep him texting. The more insultsand degrading comments, the better. 17:18,Yes,yes,yes,keep talking AH. 22:48, Yell it to the roof tops MIL. Nail both of your kids. Lastly, stay in touch with MIL and Jacqueline. The fact Tim had a fit about the quality of the fucking hotel breakfast, what you live on expensive shit or something before?(Then again he was use to getting his way with his wife so she probably made fancy shit or something) Would have been funny if Sarah begged Julie for help too but at least Tim was begging. I hope Sarah's husband if he decides to try again finds a better wife that is faithful & cares about him & his daughter. I also hope if Julie chooses to remarry(I keep saying this cause they deserve to choose) she finds someone that actually appreciates her, cares about her & does his share of the work or is just willing to help out if she's not able to get to one or more of the chores or something should she become a house wife again.(Probably not after everything plus needs a backup plan) Be funny if she marries a family member of Tim, Sarah & Carol's, while she's still considered family the marriage would mean she's still part of the family again & if Carol in some way still talks to her kids she can be like "Why can't you be like our relative & Julie's new husband? He doesn't take her for granted unlike you two & actually cares about the family."

Just going to state this actually the house is both of your guys's property because it was bought during marriage it is a piece of property that needs to be split after divorce. So either she has to buy him of his half if the judge doesn't just award it to her as compensation for b******* she's dealt with with him. And that's with anything bought during marriage dogs cars the house. Okay you don't have to go to the doctor for the common cold. Half the time when you do go to the doctor for the common cold the doctor laughs at you and says you should have just stayed in bed. It's stupid that you came in with this it's not a severe infection you have a basic cold you need to stay home sleep and double your intake of fluids that you normally do. And then I also think it's b******* that he said if you're well enough to text you well enough to do stuff. Texting is simple literally I don't even have to physically type the stuff I'm texting most times I just press a little microphone button and talk. The only time I text is when I don't want people to know what I'm saying or my phone can't pick up what I'm saying because my voice sounds different than normal. It is it is never okay to let your kids play with somebody who has a cold. You don't know if they have a bad immune system and if that basic common cold your friend's kid has been dealing with is going to be worse in your child. Take this from somebody who has a bad immune system. A basic common cold in my brother last 3 to 4 days It's too f****** weeks for me. I feel miserable I can't breathe I'm hot I'm cold I'm hot I'm cold cuz my temperature is constantly changing. I have a bad immune system I have asthma and everything so it doesn't help. I hate being around people who get sick. I can't even go and see my nieces and nephews during the fall and winter season typically because I'm worried I'm going to get sick left right and center. Because when I lived with them I did. And I'm miserable when I'm sick I don't want to do anything I just want to lay in bed in pain and die.
