Glad Tony, OP & the rest of their family are safe Helen needs serious help & I feel like the parents didn't do much as from the sound of it they spoiled her, were perfectly fine with making this all go away the first time she did it & did nothing to make this never happen again after Helen promised never to do this again only to just get rid of her/the problem when it happened again. I want to imagine they paid OP compensation for her & her brother(Tony being sent his share later) then later on Helen's parents being shunned into sending money to Helen by the aunt. The money doesn't go towards her spending as Helen is forced to earn her own money still the money they send her is for her medical bills as the aunt was sane enough to realize Helen needs professional help. The aunt & cousins make sure Helen works to support herself but they also manage the money properly so she can get the psychological help she clearly needs & her parents did nothing about.
