No! Alexa isn't the ex wife. She was an ex girlfriend from YEARS earlier. Her husband had only just died, leaving her and their kids with a husband and father. Walter thought he could get her back, and use his wife as the housekeeper/babysitter. But he thought wrong. Alexa had no intention of getting back with him, because his behaviour towards his wife/ her friend showed how he was still a narcissistic POS. She thought that he had invited her and her kids AS A FRIEND on a trip - not his honeymoon with his ( first and probably only) wife.

Alexa is NOT his ex-wife. Her 5 children are NOT his children. Alexa is his ex-girlfriend. She just lost her husband. She dumped Walter years earlier due to his arrogance and misogyny. She had NO INTENTION of getting back with him. That was all in his head. She's a great friend, who , when learning the truth of the situation, let her friend know straight away, and even apologised to her, even though she'd done absolutely nothing wrong.

Alexa had no idea that it was his honeymoon, or that he had married her friend. He told her that he and a friend won the trip, and that her and her kids could have the "extra tickets". She was of the opinion that she and her children were invited as friends only - nothing more - due to her and her children still grieving the loss of her husband. She was horrified when she realised the truth, and that this was his and Skylar's honeymoon. That why she contacted Skylar immediately to apply for "crashing" the honeymoon, and why she helped Skylar with her revenge and divorce.
