2 week hospital stay for a birth? That’s how long mothers stayed in back in the 50’s! Only time I stayed over a week was when the baby and I had medical complications. Even after a cesarean my SIL only stayed for 3 days.

I wondered the same thing and looked it up. Apparently it's a hot spring. I don't get why they didn't say that instead. But, I have my doubts these are made in the U.S. I never heard anyone call them "onsen" here, just hot springs.

Costa's parents have no right to complain about never seeing their granddaughter. Gianna was in the hospital for an entire week and they never visited. My mother was there when my son was born and I visited my brother and his wife only a few hours after my nephew was born.

Alimony is different from compensation. Alimony is paid to a spouse at the end of a marriage and agreed in the divorce process. Compensation is paid after an accident or similar mishap.

@@markmcelroy8722 That is because the cheating *IS* an incident in the marriage. Fun fact: The compensation is payable even if the marriage continues. But in that case it comes from martial property and goes into marital property, meaning from the cheating marriage partner the amount officially is zero. The cheating partner likely has to give up his/her savings and gift it to the cheated partner to try and buy forgiveness, but from the outside (and from a strictly legal POV) nothing changes.

The KZbinr and the stories are originally japanese. On KZbin we essentially see the translated version only. That is why some cultural names like onsen or shinto are in them. And also why some words are weirdly mixed up/indistinguishable like Alimony and Compensation as the japanese language does not differentiate between those words.

I believe that if a person is paying child support then they deserve to be in the child’s life. Visitation can be monitored but imo person can see their child. The only exception is if the parent themself is a danger to the child

Anything can go wrong! I had my babies when it was a 10 day stay in the UK! Each time I had to stay in 3 weeks because of complications. Same for operations. A same day one turned into 5 days.
