Why do some parents think that when their child gets married, their spouse's property becomes theirs. Didn't anyone explain what conjugal property means to these people. How could they stay married for any period of time without understanding that. Not only are they placing themselves at a disadvantage but they're setting themselves up for disaster, like what happened in that story. This is why people should do prenups.
