So, mom was only putting away $166.67 a month for 10 years? No, mom's been stealing from him for a decade. Unless he's really a spending fiend, he should have a lot more put away.
@Tracie.....6 ай бұрын
Agreed. I've been unable to work for 6 years because I was hit by a car and left needing crutches to walk. Before that I had minimum wage jobs . I have several thousands of savings. I am also in uni finally after in my 30s I was diagnosed with severe dyslexia. So I am back in school at 45. If I can eke out benefits of a few hundred pounds a month and save he should have much much more saved.

A married couple’s finances are intertwined and that means my MIL managing my husband’s money is my MIL managing MY money as well. I wouldn’t ever agree to that. I’m not even halfway through the story but I suspect Kathy to use her son‘s money for herself. And she doesn’t want to lose this source of income.

@denisvolin74897 ай бұрын
I'm with Chad on that one: she sounds fishy. And Kathy is right too. This girl is hiding something. What actually stopped Bailey from showing bank app? This is just ridiculous on her end. And that gaslighting after was totally unnecessary. And I'm not buying the whole secret millionaire at 30 story. And commercial buildings are usually owned by entities and there's a reason of liability limit for that. Another thing is that her decision to postpone the registration after the ceremony and she quitted the engagement as soon as she learned there's no direct money access. She is a gold digger and all points to her scheming. And when Kathy came to her for a sincere apology, she brushed her off instantly. So much for love and marriage readiness. So, this is actually a story of a cheap gardening instrument and a guy avoiding a bullet.
@Ronald-k6s7 ай бұрын
She showed Chad how much savings she had and she wasn't the one who wanted to control his money, he is the one that wanted his future wife to handle his money. She is the one who dodged the bullet by not marrying the mamas boy.

@@Ronald-k6s, well, Chad is a bit immature, it's OK for his age, most men got their brains only at 40, but he actually has some developed insights, the overall story tells me everything I need to know about the girl. She was a con artist.
