Jonny wasn't a bad guy, just manipulated by his mom. I am so happy he grew a titanium backbone and finally stuck up for Natalie and put his vile mother in his place. I was cheering for him.

Yeah, I thought this was a great story! These long ones are perfect for my commute to and from work as it's an hour one way. When a video ends, I can't switch to another one as I'm driving

@dragonfliesnh4204 I found it a good idea to add to watch later then they run like a playlist. Plus I thank you for being a great driver as I was left disabled BT a distracted taxi driver who reversed without looking and left me needing crutches to walk. So I have a lot of appreciation for careful drivers. After all nobody should ever think it only happens to other people as to me, they are other people, same as I am to them.

Something doesn't add up in this story... Aside from the point 'Jonny finally grows a spine': Earlier they mentioned to ask his mom for money she'd had set aside for their new house, while simultaneously stating that Jonny gave her a "generous" monthly amount of money (which he and Natalie planned to continue afterwords) - and Elaine would mainly waste it on clothes and makeup instead of food (like when Jonny grew up, so nothing changed). How would she've been able to save money then, when she depended on her son's allowance? In the end this would have been basically Jonny's money after all? I don't get it; but maybe I'm trying too hard to search for logic in these stories... Anyways, Elaine is a selfish hypocrite - she accused Nat of wanting to leech off of Jonny, while in fact SHE is the parasite! Nice ending though; love was stronger than that questionable mother-son-bond

I don't think Johnny was trying to defend her. He was not forceful, but she was not as forceful for herself. Also, everyone needs to be a bit more assertive than they are Nat should've been a little more clear in her reasoning for quitting her Job and not telling her Fiance, not taking in account he was shocked bc it was the first he heard of it, and in America if parents don't approve of marriage well people still get married whether or not parents approve or not.

I think, in soccer, if you get a red card it means you are out of the game. You have to leave the field immediately and you can't be replaced.

In soccer, red cards are used discipline players for general misconduct and bad behaviour during the game. A player who is given a red card is instantly sent off of the field and is forbidden to play for the remainder of the match. OP was referencing soccer when she said this (after mentioning the soccer jerseys she's helping design), basically saying that they were cutting off Elaine from her and Johnny's lives and that she's forbidden to go near them from now on.

Red card is a soccer term. Like NFL yellow flags, its a major penalty and alot of the time red card gets a player kicked from the game

I don’t care if he promises to do better and does it one time. I still wouldn’t speak to her and I would not go back to Jonny either. 1 time standing up is not indicative of what he will do in the future.
