Hey guys! I voiced Harold in today's Video. Thanks for Watching! That MIL is really selfish for thinking she could bully a PREGNANT Woman like that. When my Wife was preganant both times, my family and I bent over backwards to make sure she was safe and healthy, and NEVER asked her to do more than she needed to. Hell, we often had to force her to rest, since there were times she didn't want to rest. Hopefully Harold's Mom can calm down now that she has no one to bully around anymore. Shout-out to Erin Nicole Lundquist, who voiced both Mikaelah and the Mother-in-Law for this one, and did a fantastic job with both. See you next time!

Well, the MIL just lies to herself and deliberately forgets the truth. She didn't "remember" that the house she was basically squatting in belonged to her DIL's sister. She thought it was a lie. Even when her own son talked to her, she thought it was lies. She is living in denial. Because she abused her DIL and insulted her DIL's sister, she was kicked out and her son arranged for her and her belongings to be transported to her husband's housing in the middle a rural area. All the bad MILs are selfish malignant bullies.

Duh, this MIL is very lucky despite her selfishness and cruelty. She doesn't lost her place to live, she doesn't get sued for abuses and emotional distress, her husband doesn't divorce her. Her punishment is extremely light compared to her wrong doing.

OMG!!! I am so sick of these stories where the wife is such a bloody mouse and doesn't stand up for herself, or try harder to protect her unborn child against what is VERY clearly an abusive and nasty mother in law. Call the bloody police if you are so scared of her! Record her antics with your phone as proof for your husband if she doesn't do it in front of him! Screen shot her nasty, abusive, demanding and demeaning messages! There is loads you can do to protect yourself and/or expose somebody who is abusive towards you! And yes, I do know that being the abused one in any relationship makes it very, very difficult to get out, but in this case the wife knows very clearly that she is being abused by her mom-in-law, and that is massively important, after all, to escape a situation you first have to recognise, understand and accept that the abuse IS abuse and that you absolutely do NOT deserve to be treated that way by ANYBODY, no matter Who they are! And then get the hell out! If not for your sake then for the sake of your unborn child at the very least.

As much as I agree with you on that, there are cultures that don't like that. In some Asian cultures, a criminal in the family is a horrible stigma. Everyone will treat the family like an outcast as a result. It will also be a thing that won't be easily fixed like here in the West. Some people love their gossip.

Yes, sadly that is quite true about gossip. You are right about cultural differences too, although I do wish it were different and people, no matter their culture, religion or race, we're not so judgemental or quick to judgeb others all the time. Alas, that is the world we live in, so I try to be the change I want to see, but it is not always easy, but I do try really hard.

That MIL should have been put in her place a long time ago. I don't know where the idea comes from that the DIL needs to do the housework and errands for the MIL, but unless she is bedridden or totally incapable, that is hogwash.I am 78 and I still do my own housework. This husband is lame. I would like to see someone treat me like this. My husband would crush them like buiscuit. My brother in law once beated 3 guys just because they raised their voice on a waitress. One of them said:"what do you care yo big lugg? Mind your own buisnes!" And he cursed his father.
