After graduating college at 22 and 4 years of work experience, I moved out and far away at age 26. I went on limited contact. I never went back. My lazy, alcoholic, dopehead, college dropout bachelor older brother was kicked out at age 37. When my wife and I got married I never told my parents. I did call them to tell them when we had a son and I insisted that we name our son after my wife's father. My father was outraged that his first name was not chosen as a first name or middle name!
