I never had this problem. When I was 12, back in the 1970's, my father told me that I was not entitled to a single dollar of his money. My older brother was father's golden boy. Older brother was the first born. I adjusted my life accordingly. I scrimped and saved to get my college education and graduate. This was against my father's wishes. My older brother, the golden boy, had dropped out of college after smoking weed, and lost all ambition to graduate. My father never forgave me for making my older brother look bad. Father passed in 2010. Before mother passed in 2017, she signed a new will and left the $1.2 million dollar estate to our little sister. Mother had her own golden girl child. At the reading of the will, the look of horror on my older brother's face was priceless! I never anticipated inheriting a single dollar and I was not hurt.

🎵What is it about those adopted children / that makes them the black sheep of their families / don't it occur to folks that it ain't really blood / but love that determines who's in the family tree🎵 (to the tune of "How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria")

Title is off regarding what the story about. I think Zonny is actually a chip off the old Mom. I also resent the Mom having a cute cat icon.

Define voice is weird, like he has aphasia, is struggling to get the words out.
