This story shows that justice and redemption come in many forms. Jessica’s ability to rise above her struggles while still extending kindness to William is heartwarming and motivational.

Jessica is an ethical woman, whose principles wouln't let her leave her MIL until she had no choice but to put her in care. Even then, she would visit her, when she could. The situation made it difficult for her to leave her unpleasant, self-centred, lying, cheating husband. He was the worst. This story is also about Jessica finding a new love and her ex-husband finding redemption after hitting rock bottom. I liked this story very much. BTW, the boss in the background pictures reminds me very much of an actor named Nathan Fillian who played Castle in the same name TV series. Very similar look.

Why didn’t she tell her boss about what she found out about the passcodes her husband stole?

I'm so sick of wives leaving their career and power for love. That they make themselves doormats and lose their husbands respect in the end. Change it for god's sake. This is 2025.😢😢.

First of all, stories are mainly Japanese so their culture is different to the western world… no matter the year.. secondly, they are just stories so don’t stress over the small stuff and taken them for what they are… lighthearted entertainment 😊

All these stories are not Japanese any more. They are slowly evolving to other cultures etc and are helpful and many of the stories are really good. So move with the changes. Revenge is no longer a positive incentive in life. There is more.

...but when the door opened, everyone froze at what they saw. What could have happened next? This sounds like a story with an unexpected twist-I’m intrigued!

There are so many flaws in the plot.... you can't kick someone out of their home and give them only 24 hours, for example. Getting the kind of information that would sink a bank is virtually impossible, or it would happen all the time. There is no 'final stages of melancholy'. It's depression, but it's not a stage thing.
