So…she only went to college…to be a trophy wife? Whoever paid for that college should demand their money back

Plot twist: This story took place before the live action version of The Little Mermaid was made, and Kelly wanted the role of Ursula.

How can a college graduate be this stupid? Oh yeah, college only puts information in your head. It can't give you common sense. That's something you have to develop on your own.

Depends on what (or if) they study. And if its anything that can be applied in "real world" life.

@@susanhansen1290 True. Most of what I learned at school was no use whatsoever out in the real world. What my grandfather taught me in his sheds, now that I've used. And still do use over 40 years later.

All the education in the world doesn't necessarily make one smart when it comes to people and relationships. This Kelly is a perfect example, so educated, yet so clueless, even when presented with irrefutable facts. She may be educated, but she's clearly delusional as well, dismissing anything that doesn't fit her narrative.

There was the moment when Jane started speaking with the “German” assurances , you know, no sugar coat, right directly at Kelly. So another tale, where THAT was at the beginning and Kelly kept at it. Consider the “dance”. I bet a great writer could still get our collective blood boiling.Of course my take would favor total scorched earth with “victory dance of the severed carotid ego”. Holding the tension with a demure “just another day” would be very sweet. What do you think?

A college or university degree isn’t a golden ticket for a successful career, a lot of times people take on two part time jobs or a full time job just to pay off their student loan debts. Plus the jobs are not glamorous and high paying jobs are not looking for fancy college degrees, they are looking for work experience.

I graduated college in 2005 with a degree in Computer Science. I work at Walmart and have never used it. I ran a business for several years but the pandemic hurt it to the point where it's no longer sustainable. I'm now moving to Florida to restart and do something else. Yeah while I'm glad I went to college for the experience and education, it really was a waste of time and money in the long run.

And you know EXACTLY know what i do? And just what are YOU DOING since you're being a university graduation, especially with no experience! I need to explain ANYTHING to you, why? And you're so 'special' how? "Everyone can be a boss..." On the same thread, 'everyone' can be a future or current 'CEO!' "And you're just a slave..." Well, aren't you just short of that yourself, a college graduate, right now?
