100% agree. Could you image if the auto OEMs decided that aftermarket AND used OEM pull parts weren't compatible.

Isn’t that largely the case already? From what I hear parts pairing is huge in the auto industry, and with Caterpillar. Someone told me you can’t swap a BMW battery without an authorized tech pairing it.
