And we got businsses chunking out products that dont work properly at the basic level with all the cpu ram and even gpu now. IT industry started scamming of consumers long time ago. Its like smartphones, only gets camera better, nothing more else but speed(when it works) 😂 for those wasting dollars and posting comp build vids trying to show off, youre showing off that youre stupid and computer is going to be a 4th dimension system to their 1 dimensional brains 😂

I have probably spent over 100 hours on computers like these in my elementary school years, I loved it, unfortunately I did not know what I had when I had it and stepped away from computers for about a decade because of how much damage they did to my eyes and back posture.

As a full time electronics repair technician this is very motivational because everything I do is done in an attempt to repair or repurpose "old" electronics. It is one of those things where if I was a million air I would just have a building with just everything possible where I can both fix and strip down electronics to be repurposed or recycled but sadly I am just one person with limited income and space. One thing I have gotten into and occasionally try to find good sized lots of on ebay are ipods, they are small and lots of custom parts available, I know there are probably thousands of them just being shredded. I managed to save a 7th gen nano from getting recycled as it was being dropped off by someone and I asked if I could have it, they said "yes" and told me it worked... I just thought to myself "seems I saved another" and I still use it as a radio. I do feel a bit better knowing that what I take to the recyclers is literally just scrap boards and parts that are ready for the shredder.

YOOOO WINDOWS VISTA! The widgets were so fucking cool, I just wish it didn’t get such a bad rap due to how underpowered hardware was at the time of its release. And also maybe had better version identity. Like 5 different editions, that sort of got confusing when trying to figure out what version would be best for you.
