Even Linda's family income of $100k isn't big. Closer to upper middle class and comfortable but not big. Especially since the last $20k is from Linda playing the stock market, that $20k can disappear from their annual income at any time. If she stops due to a bad market, they're back to the husband's $80k/year. Which still is comfortable, or should be.

As a retired long haul trucker, I can assure you that if you watch it, wear it, eat it, or listen to it, it was delivered by a trucker. If the truckers ever unite and strike, in less than a week all stores would be out of food, TVs, clothes and many other articles. And I made a great living and saw the whole continental USA.

Sandra is lucky she wasn't sued for slander especially given it messed with OP's sister's business. I also kinda feel bad for her son & hope he's ok, something tells me at some point Sandra's husband will hear what happened & eventually have enough before leaving & taking the son with him. While I'm glad the other moms apologize it feels like they should show more that they're sorry cause they easily fell for Sandra's lies to the point their kids isolated another child & they harmed someone's business even if it was just a little. Guessing OP is surrounded by sheltered housewives.

I take personal offense to Sandra speaking on freight work! My father was a freight handler for Burlington/Northern, which became Union/Pacific! My brother who will be 80 in July worked for the same company as a conductor and train operator for over 35 years! I say because my father was able to send me to catholic school for all but three years because of a wait list, NOT because he couldn’t afford it! If it was blue collar workers, white collar couldn’t wipe their a** correctly!! Better keep your nose balanced, because looking down or tooting it up in the air, will get it broken by me! Especially when this heaux went after the kids! And she doesn’t work ANYWHERE?? Go sit down somewhere!! 💯🤡😡

This is what always irks me, people like Sandra who speak ill of other people who basically - at the end of the day - keep their countries running. Without truckers, there wouldn't be any food in the grocery stores, without truckers, there wouldn't be any gas in the gas stations and without truckers, you'd have no goods to buy from lowes, furniture stores, electronic stores etc. Hell, to me, Truckers are far more important than politicians (who as far as I'm concerned as a drain on society and provide nothing of value)

Truck drivers actually make good money, and it is actually rather difficult to get a CDL. Driving a vehicle that large is way different from driving a regular size vehicle. Trades people also make good money. I can't stand people who look down on others for stupid reasons like the kind of work they do or their perceived social status, or even their education level. Character and personality are the ONLY TRUE AND ACCURATE gauges of a person's worth. This Sandra person, lacks both character and personality and decency...so she is actually INFERIOR to everyone she is looking down on.

Since Sandra hates truckers so much, maybe she should stop buying anything, since EVERYTHING moves by truck. OP's husband's wages are just about accurate. I do a Monday to Friday trailer shuttle between terminals and I make about $75k a year without even working that hard. Additionally, a sizeable number of truck drivers today have at least some college education, if not a degree of some kind.

I am not saying being a housewife is easy, keeping the home clean and raising kids is hard work. However bragging about money you haven’t earned on your own is sad. While I believe a housewife deserves respect for the job they do, their husbands paycheck isn’t really something they directly contributed to. While having a great housewife at home can make work life easier, they could probably make that money without a wife and kids. So brag about your kids, your home, but not your husband’s job, that’s just makes you look like your own accomplishments is worth anything so you have to pin your worth on other people’s achievements.
