Since Amy did NOT go to prison, she should be on probation instead of parole. Parole is after serving time in prison.

Amy needs to be arrested. Immediately. And her father SHOULD be fired as well, he told his daughter to "get close" to Felix...and "get physical" if she had too? Yeah, he's to blame as well.

Amy was trying to chat him up AT HIS WEDDING. in front of all those people. Worst possible place to try that and most chance of getting fired, arrested and thrown out. Not necessarily in that order

Her father paid all the money she owed and they think that will make her 'learn her lesson'. And despite somebody who is not her paying all the money and her not contributing a cent to her own fines, they reason that her going to jail or not will make a difference? Textland logic.

You don't get parole unless you go to prison. Parole is early release from prison to make up for the time she didn't spend there. She probably got probation. You don't have to serve time for that. Please look up the meanings of words BEFORE using them. 😮

Why wasn’t Amy fired for leaving work early? There shouldn’t be a next time. Come on Charlie, spill the beans to Felix! Hmm, seems I’ve heard this story before. If Amy got an invitation wouldn’t she have seen Charlie’s name on the invitation? Amy’s not too bright. Why hasn’t Amy been arrested yet for assaulting Charlie? Amy’s nuts! Well this isn’t going to end well for Amy.

Sorry but that was the dumbest story. Noone would punch a so called subordinate. She also stated her daddy told her to do whatever she had to, to get next to the CEO. He should have known the CEO was already married. For telling her that, daddy most definitely should have been fired as well. Also the CEO's wife spent way to much time explaining it all to her over and over.

The moment Charlie told Amy to meet her by the restroom, she should have said come to the bride's dressing room as I am there getting ready for the wedding. That would have made Amy start asking questions pertaining to why are you getting dressed as the bride, you're not the bride, to which Charlie would have said, look at the invite and see my name of Charlie Deed on the invite. That would have put a halt to everything including Amy punching her as she would have found out that the new employee was the CEO's bride and would be like trying to suck up to her to get on her good side, apologizing for all the wrongs that she did at work and trying to see if he has a brother she could meet. But Amy ended up assaulting her CEO's wife, she should be jailed for 6 months and probation of 6 years and fired from the job she had. Amy can still get a job while on probation/parole, she would have to tell the employers the reason why she was on parole for hitting the CEO's wife on her wedding day. Her father should be demoted from his spot in the company and his salary lowered, till he proves his trustworthiness again.

Goodness! With amy's continuous denile of what she had done, I thought restraining order was next because I seriously thought she'd be pestering o.p with why she was being fired endlessly, she clearly had her question answered a hundred times before she ever asked why she was being fired from her job as well as all the charges she was facing.she's also probably going to have to kiss working at high paying companies goodbye especially now that she'll have assault and sexual assault on her record. no one is going to hire her for that. this woman ruined her own life.

The premise that making the father responsible for his adult daughters actions will cause the daughter to change her behavior is a fallacy. At least in the western tradition, as when it is applied to most families in America, for example. The only way the daughter’s behavior will change is if SHE personally is made to pay for her actions.

This is why more companies need anti-nepotism in place. Her connections should have only gone as far as getting an interview and starting at an entry level position, and then work her way up. At least that would have humbled her. But clearly she is a social climber and would have been a gold digger had she gotten her claws into the CEO.

If she could put somebody in the hospital with a concussion, she could defend herself in prison. I think in most countries this assault would have got her a couple of years in prison. Her attitude sucks, which is a very bad factor in your pre-sentencing probation report. When you go for your probation interview, you really have to convince the PO of your remorse and accept full responsibility. That has a lot of impact on the judge's sentence. And then when she got out of prison, she would never get a corporate job again with her criminal record.

I kind of dislike how they are referring to what Amy did to Felix as "attempted seduction" when sexual harassment would have been a better term. It is also kind of weird how she had done this to him multiple times, and that he, the CEO, felt uncomfortable to report it. I am also bothered that again, they kind of sidestepped her "multiple attempts of seduction" and framed it more as wrong due to him already being in a relationship, as opposed to the harassment that, at least I think, it truly was. I also think the fact that her father said to "get physical" with her attempts to flirt with the Felix probably needs more clarification. Did her father know about Felix being married, that he rejected Amy prior, and did he truly encourage her to attempt to "seduce" Felix on his wedding day? If the answer is "yes" to any of these things, then perhaps he got off a bit lightly for some people's perception.

ok this is funny, looking up Japan and parole. reading thru the wiki was. Former US Marine Rodrico Harp, who was sentenced to seven years hard labor for his part in the infamous 1995 Okinawa rape incident, served his sentence at Kurihama prison near Yokosuka, and described fabricating car parts for Mazda and Nissan for a salary of less than $30 a month during his incarceration in an interview with Stars and Stripes after his release. International criminal defense lawyer Michael Griffith is a well known critic of the practice, saying: "They don't have to recruit these workers. They don't have to insure them, or give them sick pay, or fulfil any of the obligations that they would in a regular factory. They know that their workers can never complain, or join a trade union, or get headaches, or take time off. Why should these companies get the benefit of convict labour? It is sheer, naked exploitation, and it is a disgrace in any country that calls itself a civilised democracy."[15] He obviously missed on how the US jail system does exactly the same

Sorry, but that story doesn't make sense at all. First, why would the CEO's wife cover for an employee who insults her? That would never happen in reality. The insults are one thing, but leaving work as she please? An ordinary worker might chose to ignore it, but not the CEO or his wife. They have the biggest interest for the company to keep succeeding. Second, since the wife got punched hard enough so she had to go to the hospital, the police would also get involved immediately. Again, there is no reason for her to cover for her. Third, the father would've known if the CEO is already married or not. So it doesn't make sense for him to advise his daughter to go for him. Fourth, it doesn't make sense to chose money (from the girl's father) over jail-time. She basically goes of nearly unpunished for her crimes.
