I realise it's all for drama, but how can the characters be so stupid? "I'll tell the cops you stole my money!" "Ha ha", says the thief, "They won't do a thing since we're in-laws!" and the stupid gullible fool goes "Oh well of course I'll believe a lying thief instead of checking it out for myself". Who acts like that, except someone in one of these scripts? At least they did put in "and she had the sense to google it to find out if it was true". First thing you do is call the cops, second is tell the in-laws their daughter stole the money for the cruise. None of this "oh I can't ruin their holiday", because it'll be worse when they come home to a court case.

Ok, I haven't gotten to the end yet, but why is Sandra only talking about suing her SIL, but not turning her into the police for breaking and entering her dad's office, and theft of the $70,000 and bank fraud for illegally transferring the money? Please tell me she does both!

What an annoying voice

I’m a little confused. What family has their adult children sending them money every month? My son lives with me and we split the bills but not once have I expected him to pay me a thing. Kids are your responsibility to raise, after they are adults you should be happy they can afford to care for theirselves not expect them to pay you anything.
