Finally, a DIL that doesn't take shit from their in-laws just because they're related, Lucille disrespected brittany in her own home and expected to still stay

You should have kept your house 🏡 Lucille!! You’re lucky Brittany found you a place to stay and paid for it🤣

It's fun to read that the dil does not tolerate her mil. In most stories the dil is a wimp so this has been very refreshing.

I was about to say the ame thing. Instead of slinking off with her head down, DIL was like “um, YOU get out!”

I want more stories where the child of the evil mother or father actually clap back at their parents instead of the dil or sil
@dragonfliesnh42049 ай бұрын
I agree. It would be a nice to have more stories where the adult child deals with their own family member.

Geez. What a rollercoaster that was. Even though Terry was on Brittney’s side, he is SO. FREAKING. LUCKY that she didn’t demand a divorce from him. I’m pretty sure as soon as his mom moved in, he began to regret it. Sure she’s his mom, but still, he really should’ve talked about the situation with Brittney first. Hope he learned his lesson. And as for the MIL, man, if only she had remembered, let alone listen to what Brittney had told her in the past, then she wouldn’t be in a senior home.

Terry can just go live with his mother!! Problem solved!!

Mil not only moves in, she considers the house hers and wants dil,who owns the house, to leave.

Honest question: Is it really that easy to get locks changed without the permission of the home owner in the US? I hear it so often in many storys and it buffles me xD
@Allie_phelps10 ай бұрын
No you can’t just change the locks to someone else’s house. You need proof of ownership before they will change the locks. I’m sure there’s some shady places that may not care, but the homeowner can very easily get the police involved. I’ve never heard of locks being changed by someone other than the homeowner. The creators of these stories aren’t from the US and I think they just assume things about the US

@@Allie_phelps thank you for the answer 😊 I kinda guessed it but wasn't sure.

@@alicecarroll4711 you’re very welcome. It’s in these stories a lot so I don’t blame you at all for wondering about it. They do make it seem like it happens all the time and is so easy to do haha

@@Allie_phelps But tbh changing a lock isn't that difficult if you have the keys from the previous lock. For me this is just fun listening/watching these stories, and i guess there are really people doing this.

These stories aren't written in the US and most of the time they never say where it takes place. The writers live in a non English speaking country and these are translated to English. Where I live, legally only the homeowner can change the locks. But if someone else changes them and makes sure the owners gets their copy, most people would let it go. Sometimes a situation can happen for someone who doesn't own the home to have to get the locks changed without the owners presence. Such as a housesitter lost the copy of their key and had to call a blacksmith. But the scenario in this story, it wouldn't be legal here.

My ex-girlfriend's older sister disrespected me in my apartment. Ex-girlfriend's older sister laughed and said that she was moving in and bringing her two sons with her. I told her "No!" Ex-girlfriend's older sister had no idea that I carried 75% of the household budget. It was soon after that my girlfriend and I broke up. I soon found a place that I could afford on my own. I was happy and soon had my next girlfriend.
