no, part of it is that im not a fan of apple, part of it is what i have seen of it from different creators (im normally frugal as you know but that has nothing to do with my opinion) iuts not worth its price its more a toy then an actual professional product, besides its UX is bad and it is tied into apple ecosystem, as someone who owns 0 apple products i wouldnt be able to take advantage of any of its actually usefull features(which there is one mac screen in vision pro) maybe if i could show me 3 screens or more of mac windows or linux(at least linux i dont really care about windows), allow me to type on flat surface with overlayed keyboard, virtualize macOS on vision pro, be able to anchor windows onto the screen always and have memory where things are placed then it would be an OK ask for maybe third of the price even if the memory part required some room modifications like "anchor devices or lighthouses of sorts" edit: social mode there should also be social mode, and way to make vision pro much easier to be used by multiple people

please get a quest, it has mr, better work environment with workrooms, and way more apps... it also has games, and better experience in vr. though the passthrough cameras aren't that good

I wanna float in a ISS, watch sports like I'm in the stadium, visit Mars, be surrounded by real sharks and things as such. To spend so much money only to have a little screen in front of me doesn't sound very attractiveå

Love mine but needs work. Great for monitor replacement and movies. Killer apps can’t come until they absorb the battery. That limits so many use cases

@@tomazzamanI didn't upgrade from the quest2, but it's a neat device and super versatile. But you have to put up with some of meta's crap. The huge benefits is that it's not a walled garden: There's 4 different ways to connect it to a pc And it's relatively easy to sideload apps onto it.

How hot does it get? I've got a valve index, and the heat/humidity around the eyes can fog it up and make me sleepy. That's the real turn off I've found with VR.
