Nice video bro... Apple is actually marketing things in favor of UX, and it's good too for day to day jobs even for video and audio editing. But as you said in your previous video, Intel and AMDs are much more powerful, since they need to be compactible enough to handle anything thrown at them... But apple forces dev community to optimize it at the code level... If apple launches a new i-OS, all the apps will release updates making the app much more efficient, but in Android that's never the case, apps will be left behind unless they can't run in new OS version and they focus more only on the latest CPU/GPU that's released. Hence, the phones feels lagging and perf drops and battery consumption increases... But since the h/w is from apple, they can give more OS releases and app optimizations are more or less optimized for every version, since they run on their own instruction sets instead of going with multiple vendors. ithan kadhai surukam :) ithula thappana info iruntha I'm sorry and pls drop your comments

Simple in both android and windows price point matters, apple is good for video editing, but if you are ready to sacrifice form factor, a person can easily get a all rounder laptop for gaming, video editing and graphics work for easily at 50-60k, today at that price you get a rtx 2050 or a 3050, now coming to android since it's open source it's free for everyone so each will have their own take now a days many brands are bringing un adulterated android os to their phone, you easily get a powerful phone for 30k, apple will not or ever reduce it's price

Awesome content bro! But, I'm not a PC GUY. I use to work with sony vaio(2013) model laptop. I was frestrated with the performance in 2016. So i quit using laptop for those performance issues. So i stayed in my entry level mobile phone to fullfill my day to day works. On 2022, i was pulled towards buying portable computer. So i was searching for the compact and non-slugish portable computer. Then i pick MacBook Air M1 and using it for my day to day tasks and its working far better than my dad's dell 1.6 lacs laptop. As you say, in future i hope the cheaper with performance focused laptops should released with higher battery life for portable use cases! Kudos to PC-DOC!💪

Well arm can compete with x86 in the performance category, it can also be general purpose too. People installed Windows on Arm in a raspberry pi, dual booted it with linux and stuff. As you said we can define complex instructions of x86 in simpler instructions of arm . Ampere Arm systems are already beating intel and stuff. I guess you need to research more on this topic first.

Raw performance la ARM will be better but as you said Apple excels in the experience. Eg. Some years ago I used to work with Android Studio. Windows PC la install panrakku it took nearly a week to get the JDK and SDK to work properly but on Mac I got it to work on day one due to hassle free process with ease of use tools like homebrew. I know Linux is a better alternative to windows on PC but athula I have to give up some creature comforts. Since MAC OS is a compromise of both I’m happy with it. Also the main Advantage of M series chips over other ARM processors is Rosetta Instruction Transaltion which allows non ARM specific apps to run in M series chips. Ithellamum mention panirukalam

Only within apple ecosystem this RISC chip will live. Intel also slowly moved away from Celeron which is also a similar RISC chip and it didn't shine like their CISC counterparts like Pentium & i series . RISC will continue to exist for light weight use cases like Mobiles and IoT devices like Raspberry Pi / Orange Pi / nVidia Jetson and likes and so will CISC chips be alive for complex use cases. Each has their own pros and cons.

Dude there is no perfect CISC or RISC nowadays. Engineers are using a blend of two. Intel has basically CISC architecture, however few areas works under RISC. Same goes with ARM.

Well said, Your video is very informative and i learnt a lot Though i hate apple, I believe gaming in MAC wont be that far. I game on linux using WINE - an compatibility layer (under proton). So apple could try a similar approach to get windows games to run on mac despite them being in Direct X. But that could be like a 15 fps slide show presentation of a game 😆

There will be trade-offs for sure. But design will be in such a way that they will try to match it or get better performance using the power, efficiency and hybrid cores like he mentioned. I think it will be geared mostly towards low end and medium end laptops. Time will tell how they implement this. I feel as time progresses all manufactures want to take away user upgradable features as much as they can. With SOC architecture user upgradability of RAM or something else like you mentioned may be gone. Or they may come up with another solution. Let's see. 🤔
