I did this but didn't disconnect the battery and now the battery life is nothing short of terrible. Are these 2 related? What I mean is can not disconnecting the battery short circuit it and make battery life shorter?

Hi, I just tried to fix my Apple Watch series 2.. I opened it, I separated the LCD from the glass successfully and now I tried the new digitizer but.. the touch does not work... it can be a problem with the force touch? The force touch can impede to the touch to work normally?

not related with the force touch check your touch digitizer again and testing it befor u put touch with lcd

Jh Shim digitizer includes the screen and is a much easier job to replace however glass only is what he did here and is much more difficult
