Will you loose apple pay functionality like you do on the series 2 and 3 if you dont swap the NFC chip from the old screen? I see alot of people mentioning it about the series 2 and 3 but i cant find information on the series 4

Did you get Apple Py to work? Any update? I just replaced screen on Series 3 and Apple Pay does not work. Guess I’ll have to go back in there and transfer the antennas but I don’t know how to reattach the atenna. Some videos solder but I’ve heard magnetic glue may work too?

It can be water resistant based on the glue you’re using but water proof? No. A device is never water proof even from the factory. They’re water resistant to a certain amount and barely that of advertised. After a repair, I’d be careful around water.

The apple watch is water proof, how else can you go swimming while wearing it?

@@gtmobile2420 it’s not water proof. The amount of Apple Watches I see at my repair shop a month prove that it’s not. And they aren’t even swimming. They’re doing dishes, taking showers, etc. the watch is not waterproof. It’s water resistant and barely at that.

I watched this video and I messed my watch up. I will have to buy a new one. I would recommend leaving this job to a professional. This is nothing like replacing a screen on a phone. This is so much tedious and harder to do.
