Great review, but I must admit when people show watches side by side, I wish they'd lay them flat on the table without moving them, and having the exact same watch face on them, so we get a better perspective of it's size, and brightness.

@@jordanwilliams1546it’s not about getting new tech, it’s about the tech leap. For example series 4 is the first apple watch to have rounded design and new display. Series 5 is the first to have always on display. Series 7 is the first to have upgraded display, etc. You can just skip the number.

I use the 6 but I do wish I got the SS model which looks/feels really nice, and you can get a used 6 SS for 250 or 7SS for 350 used….. just don’t know if the 100 is worth it

Dude I had the series 3 up until this week and was happy enough with that lol. I was cleaning out the pool and it got water damage somehow 🤔 so now I get to upgrade. I feel like going from the 3 to the 6 will be a big enough upgrade for me so I’ll save the $150+ and stick with the 6 instead of the 7. I’m in the same boat as you. I have the Series 3 and considering jumping to the Series 6 instead of the 7. I don’t buy new tech models every year because it makes no sense to me, I prefer waiting some years then upgrading to not the newest model but the one behind it to save some money and still get new features. Apple Watch screen protectors are all terrible for many reasons. If you just get a bumper case, the chance the screen ever getting scratched is almost 0. Screens scratch and break when running into doors and falling on it. Micro abrasions almost never happen unless you put you watch with your keys or coins or it goes in the washer and dryer

Nice watches just got my first one.. and yes it charges lighting fast!! I tested out how my power bank would work on it and I was impressed! I charged the Watch on it two days on a row and it only used 4% of the power I still got 96%…PSA , off subject but everyone should have a power bank… mines is a 32000mah give me about 5-6 full charges on my phone and about 2 with my iPad…Love it

But a bigger and brighter display of the Series 7 made me get it. This might be the Watch I keep for a long time idk. Why do people act like you have to be some rich person or something to go from last year’s model to the newest? You can trade in through Apple for one, two, manage your money better. If you can’t afford to upgrade, then you can’t afford it and that’s fine. If you can afford to upgrade, that is fine too. Reviewers aren’t really out of touch. As a watch collector would go for the base aluminum model with a basic strap because the watch will be old technology within 5 years. I have a series 7 and like it but if you want to spend big bucks on a watch save up and by a high quality mechanical watch that you can hand down to your son like a Rolex, AP, Breguet, Omega, Patek etc.

I use it for work shift notification when I cannot reply on my phone or when there is a dead signal inside of a building but the message or call goes thru the apple watch. Prompt reply to a time sensitive message means a lot of moolah 💰💰💰 for me 😂. My apple watch is a must!

Some of my fave features- Apple Pay on the wrist, answering or texting using the watch, controlling music and the workout app, as someone with a family history of heart issues the ECG and heart rate monitoring is a great feature as well.

Dont buy the 7. This is not the real 7, they had problem in production so they went back to the 6 and mounted another display. Everything else, including chip, is the same as 6.
