I think there are features like Blood Pressure and checking body composition etc that are present in samsung watch but not in apple watch. So I came here expecting a comparison of features. But all I got mostly is a diplomatic answer and didn’t really help in knowing the real differences.

Not being able to have Samsung watches connect to Apple phones or not able to connect Apple watches to Android phones is just stupid. I'm not impressed by the tantrums these companies are throwing or their excuses. It's anti-competitive to lock people into an environment. A modern tech company can surely design a device that can work with a competitor's phone OS.

This sounded to me like a apple users review of both watches and he found out that the Samsung is better but couldn't bring himself to say it. You said it looked better, more initiative to use, more things it does and better charging options (its laughable that apple doesn't do that). Easy samsung win

Great comparision , but i can not agree with the band comment. The samsung actually uses a standaard 20mm band which is much more general then the proprietary apple band. Small thing but just want to mention it

Having had both, and going from a Galaxy phone and watch to an Apple iPhone and watch I have to say the phones are on par, but the Galaxy watch is leaps and bonds batter then the Apple Watch. You get less than a hundred face options on the Apple Watch, the Galaxy has thousands, also the OS is better on the Galaxy watch, this based on your favorites apps wheel and over all organization of apps. Overall they both do the same, just that the Galaxy Watch apps system, the OS, so much better.

I think everyone would agree that the Galaxy watch is insanely more clunky than the Apple watch. I'm on my third Galaxy watch now and I cannot understand for the life of me how with the available Tech today these watches are so slow and clunky

@@WeiserBen Depends on the Apple Watch 40mm vs the 45mm, big difference in size. The Galaxy watch comes in 42 to 46mm.

@@VonDutchNL it's just not very reactive in a lot of instances. For example when I pull down the notification tray, or pull up the app tray from the bottom, or hold the screen to customize the layout it always seems to be about a half second lag between the motion of my finger in the action whereas any Apple watch I've ever tried out that my peers have had it is always instantaneous and highly reactive just like what you would expect from a phone.

I've had both, recently switched to the Apple Watch and iPhone about a month ago, the Galaxy watch is better, the phones are on par with each other are just separated by their hardware.

Reverse wireless charging is a gimmick that isn’t actually useful. The fact that you have to charge your phone first, then charge the watch @ 5watts while draining your phone. Not useful in the slightest.

Super useful when most of the time you'll have a phone charger, either urself or someone has it for you. So now you can charge ur phone and wirelessly charger ur watch since mostly no one is gonna carry a damn watch charger ;)
