Man Chris I agree completely. My whole world changed, literally, with each new Apple product I've tried. I had a LG G Watch R and bought the 1st gen apple watch. I then bought the series 2, series 3 and series 4; i haven't bought another android watch. I had a Samsung Tab S 10.5 tablet and bought the iPad Mini w/Retina (now called Mini 2). I then bought the iPad Air 2, iPad Pro 9.7, and 2018 iPad Pro 12.9; i haven't bought another android tablet. I had an LG G3 and bought an iPhone 6 Plus. I then bought a 6s Plus, 7 Plus, X, Xs Max and 12 Mini; i haven't bought another android phone. I had a Dell Alienware R2 2nd Gen and bought a late 2015 5k 27" iMac. I am typing this comment on that computer! Six years later almost and it still works as well as the day I took it out of the box (I did spec it to the max with pure ssd storage). I haven't bought another Windows (or any) computer. I can't wait for the iMac redesign! Anyway, the list goes on from there; I've done this with Apple TV, Apple Pencil (both of them), Apple cases, Apple keyboards, trackpads, magic mouse 2. The Apple experience is truly second to none, and no, it's not about the darn logo. And as you so eloquently put it here, the Apple watch has been a real game changer!

I went for several years not really "getting" the Watch. I haven't worn *any* watch for at least a decade. But I suddenly realised while I was watching the unveiling of the 6 that it had compelling Fitness+ with it. It's sort of nerdy that I am busy collecting awards and tracking for much more activity. But "hey!" exercise - can't knock that, and everything else is such a bonus - you wouldn't see me giving it up for anything now, from Apple Pay to Sleep Tracking, Drinking checks, unlocking MBP to.... well even the time and alarm!! And love switching the faces for different tasks/times of day etc.... Lot's of good points you have there, Chris, but you're probably preaching to the converted - you either get it or you don't get it!

I've never had an Apple Watch and never really wanted one until recently. The thought of having to charge your watch every day seemed an unnecessary annoyance to me, until I discover that all my (normal) watches had dead batteries and I couldn't get them replaced due to lockdown. That's when I started thinking about the Apple Watch. I haven't got one yet, but when series 7 comes out I might be tempted.

One big plus for the Apple Watch is being able to leave phone muted. I also like not having to have my phone on me when in the house, I often don’t have pockets for it. The watch keeps me connected. Wish I could set the red ring in the activities app to be based on my steps, rather than ‘moving’. It’s also a bummer that I need to use a third party app to show my steps on the watch face. I would consider LTE if the phone carriers didn’t charge so much for it. Still going strong with my series two

I've owned 2 Apple watches, a used ver 3, and a new ver 6. The 6 is by far the best gadget I've EVER bought. I charge it after I awake, then use it all day every day (much more than my iPhone) unfortunately my carrier 'Belong' (Australian) doesn't support eSim so I can't disconnect entirely. However, after just (again) examining every single watch face available (looking for the one with the most complications), I came across one I have not seen before, it is Infograph which has EIGHT. (more than I need in reality)... If you haven't seen it yet, it is worth a look. I tried to share it to my wife's ver 4 but alas, it would not install. One complication I particularly like is the Tesla Powerwall (3rd party app, and the only one I've ever bought @ $4.95). I *LOVE* it ;-) I'm a total convert to the Apple Watch, as you can probably guess...

I bought the original out of curiosity since I hadn't worn a watch for a good while and found I used it daily. I bought the 3 with LTE. I upgraded but this time to the SE since having it on all the time wasn't important to me and 'wake when armlifted' has improved a lot. I decided against LTE this time since I haven't used it in over a year--before I used it to listen to music when walking or not having to carry the phone all the time. Like others, its one of most used in Apple devices (many things including exercise)--and i use Apple Pay at least weekly--will be glad for new IOS to use watch to open phone with mask on.
