I think the best solution would be for companies to stop producing the excess plastic first, and this definitely would help with what to do with all the waste we have already

It isn't best solution as these bags will have an expiry date as well. They won't be used forever.

When I was a little girl, my Uncle was in prison. He made simple single fold wallets from gum wrappers using this technique. I haven’t seen this done in 60 years! Does anyone else have family or friends who learned this craft?

I don't like the handle , the seems could have been placed on the bottom of the bag and avoided the ugly knots at the rim and the bow which would be hard on the hand I like the rest of the bag also question staples on plastic but I have no alternative other than some type of super glue
