I love how every carol covered on this album seems handpicked for each member of the Mane Cast! Daring, brash Rainbow Dash gets Jingle Bells; energetic, quirky Pinkie Pie gets 12 Days of Christmas; meticulous, style-conscious Rarity gets Deck the Halls; shy, soft-spoken Fluttershy gets Silent Night; diligent, family-oriented Applejack gets Auld Lang Syne; and slightly greedy Spike gets Jolly Old Saint Nicholas. The only one I'm not sure about is Twilight getting We Wish You a Merry Christmas, which feels more like a process of elimination thing than anything else.

Where is this Applejack in the show? So calm, so peaceful, but sad as well. It's a nuanced song that really brings out her personality in a light that I love. I love this song because it's not trying to appeal to anyone, rather, it's trying to be a good song.

I can't remember what season or episode number it happened in or even the nickname of the episode itself; but there's an episode where Applebloom begins to fear for her cutie mark, and ultimately if it will be the right one for her. After some reassuring words that Applebloom has nothing to worry about, Applejack sings a sweet little song to tuck her sister into bed. It's a small moment but I recall it opens up this idea that they've always been like this, that AppleJack has always been this kind of mother figure to her little sister where their actual mother has been absent.

Omg, I finally get why all these comments are saying it's about her parent! At 1:47, it says "Our paths will cross again one day, in time to reunite." It means that when Applejack (and maybe Applebloom!) pass away, they'll see their parents again. At least I think that's what it means.

My review of the song I love it. The instrumental music in the background is very Celtic in which I like, the song gives off a vibe of this is Applejack at her best when she’s really getting to shine. The soft melody just sways you into listening more and more of it as you watch deeper into the song as you wish Applejack could have a lot of character development through the seasons instead we are treated to Applejack as a background character until a character needs her help or she’s the focus of an episode. Never does Hasbro give Applejack room to grow as a character. Over all, this is a good song that will be a good addition for a good Christmas playlist or even a starter cause Applejack is singing about what Christmas is about, family. Family isn’t defined by blood, only loyalty and love from those who love you no matter what. They accept your flaws and still want you to grow better and better as you live your life. As I myself love my family dearly and close to my heart, I can feel the love of the season through this song.
