I completely relate to needing to write to feel balanced. I think for many of us we are meant to be expressions of experiences everyone has but cannot release. When I feel most down I realize it’s been too long since I really sang. I love that you and Shawn, and so many artists are talking now about anxiety and true internal processing. I wish this interview was longer. I really hope for her next album we get an in-depth, track by track, interview with her where Zane gets to the heart of the story behind her songs.
