I wondering that myself. Honey is a term of endearment and that ship sailed when he put up their house as collateral. In fact that ship was pulling out of port when he gave his parents their kids future money to his parents without telling her.

OP really put up with a lot… I don’t understand how the MIL can be so entitled and have no shame about her son, DIL and two young children lost their home because of her! Insane… I wish the other siblings not helping because they knew their parents are failures was included but still enjoyed the story ❤

It would have been a miracle if I had stayed 5 years in that marriage. It was his parent’s fault that they lost everything not hers. Why should they be responsible for their stupid decisions? The moment my parents offered to take care of my children would’ve been the day I filed for divorce. It was obvious that he’s just like his mother, nothing but trouble. 1 room apartment was better than being homeless. Did they ever consider that? At least they still had a roof over their heads. Divorce was the only option she had.

I don't understand why OP didn't divorce her husband when her husband lost their house. He's putting his parents ahead of his own children. He will never learn. He didn't care if his wife and children were living in cardboard boxes. Shameful behaviour no good husband.

James; you have a wife and children who need you. Grow a pair and tell your mummy to fix her own mess. Her business went down the tubes because of what she did; she's a grown woman, she could contact a business consultant to fix it. Unless the cause is fixed, she'll just continue to throw good money after bad.

Me: 🎵When OP first met James / he seemed like a nice guy / but once they tied the knot / he gave in to greed / all of their money was spent on his parents / a decade's too long to spend with that kinda family / but just like the eagle and the hawk / she'll finally fly / put James in the ex-files / and then she'll be free🎵 (to the tune of the John Denver song ''The Eagle And The Hawk'') Aliens: Did somebody say X-Files?

Get divorced. He can live w/ his mommy & daddy & take care of them, & she can move in w/ her parents for a time & they can keep their money, w/ none of it going to his parents. Sever the finacial flow from her parents to his. He'll never stop, otherwise.

How did the wife not know she was signing their house away…she would have read the paperwork before signing it. I just don’t get this, it is a flaw in the story and the beginning of the downfall of their household. That really needed to be fixed. And what happened to his siblings that were mentioned early in the story? Did they all die in some unmentioned traffic accident…. Certainly they could have contributed monies toward their parents. You apologize for this story being lawn, but it would’ve been much shorter. If you had paid attention to the flaws in the story such as the missing siblings, the wife admitted she signed paperwork to turn over the house to his parents creditors and yet somehow didn’t know about it in the story acting like it was a big surprise when telling her parents. This story was just stupid, wasn’t proofread at all.

I'd divorce. He will do this at again, he is basically stealing from her parents money if that makes sense. His parents can deal with their own situation as they have a family separate technically. He is going on and on, I would be done, I would be so done. She needs to protect herself and her kids and get out immediately. He's prob off cheating If this crap is not in her name, she needs to leave stat get out stat and don't look back. Don't take any money from her parents and get out

These don't need to be this long. I'd love a good long revenge/comeuppance story, but with all these incredibly long videos it's just forty minutes of the protagonist putting up with rubbish and then the last five minutes wanting a divorce. It doesn't feel satisfying. Having the husband begging for forgiveness and consequences of the divorce WITHIN the story instead of brushed over in the 'After That' section would be much more improving in my opinion, and you could cut so much needless rehashing. I appreciate the effort that goes into these videos, but I'd appreciate them more if I saw any of said effort.
