One of our favorite places. The fritters are to die for. I wish I could operate the cider press they have there. I worked at a local Apple orchard and me and a co- worker made the cider. It was a fun experience.

That's a beautiful place. I remember eating at the restaurant there in the early to mid 2000's. I don't remember exactly what I ordered, but I do remember the apple fritters were delicious!! I went there with my mom and my grandma who has now passed on. So it was sentimental watching this video.

Another great video Karen and Mike! If y'all like Applewood, you've got to try Carver's Orchard & Applehouse Restaurant in Cosby (on Hwy 321). I know from past videos how much Karen loves chicken and dumplings and Carver's is second only to my mama's! We normally stay in Cosby when we visit and always wind up at Carver's for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's got a great market and candy shop, as well.

Ok it’s settled, going to bump our next trip up from next December to May and the first stop will be to get some of that chicken n dumplings!! I’m here eating a bowl of cereal for dinner while drooling over the pot roast, chicken n dumplings and sides then you drop the hammer by shopping for Apple Butter! Wife’s eyes lit up when she saw the peach butter. Oh by the way, you are right about the bread, simple piece of white bread and butter to go with the pot roast would have been the icing on the cake.

Our food is always really good! The Farmhouse where we ate has a limited menu and the Grill the larger place to eat has a much larger menu and is usually more crowded. You can look up. the menu's online for more info. Thanks so much for watching!

dont eat the Christmas dinner..... we went a few years ago and the food was not very fresh. Staff was over worked as well and was not sufficient.
